Trip to India

Game Description: Help Eric find the hidden objects on his trip to India.

How to Play Trip to India:
  • After the game has fully loaded, and all of the ads have played, click the 'Play' button on the left side.
  • On the next screen you will see some pictures. Click anywhere on this screen.
  • When you see the screen titled 'Level Map' click the level you want to play. (If you are playing Trip to India for the very first time only Level 1 will be unlocked and available for play).
  • For each level there are hidden objects to be found.
  • The objects you are searching for are listed at the top of the screen.
  • The timer is the bar at the bottom.
  • The timer fills with a red line from left to right.
  • Click each hidden object to remove it from the screen. (It's name will also disappear from the list at the top).
  • Earn points for each hidden object you find.
  • Lose points for clicking anywhere other than a hidden object from the list.
  • Your goal is to find all of the hidden objects before time runs out, and earn as many points as you can.
  • As you solve each level the next level will unlock and be available to play.
  • If you solve a level, you begin the next level immediately.
  • If you are unable to find all of the hidden objects before time runs out you will see a 'Game Over' screen. However, the game is not actually over. What 'Game Over' really means is that you must repeat the last level you tried. For example, if you were playing Level 2 and you were unable to win that level you would replay Level 2 again. You would not have to go back to Level 1 again, unless you wanted to repeat Level 1 to get a higher level score.
  • When you see the 'Game Over' screen, to continue playing, first click anywhere on that screen. Next, click 'No Thanks' when you are asked to submit your score. After the game reloads, click the 'Play' button again. This will take you back to the 'Level Map' screen where you may click on any unlocked level you would like to play.
  • Trip to India is a dynamic hidden object game. This means that each time you replay a level, even though the list of hidden objects will remain the same, the order in which they come up will change. Also many of the objects will be moved from their previous locations, and hidden in a different location. This keeps the game interesting and challenging.
  • There are 7 levels of play.

Trip to India Achievements: Trip to India has 6 different achievements you can try to unlock. You will see the achievements displayed near the bottom of the screen, three on each side of the timer. As you unlock each achievement, it will turn from a tan color to a bright yellow. (As far as I can tell, it looks like Trip to India will save your achievements as long as you use the same computer). The 6 achievements you can try for are:
  • Complete all levels without a mistake.
  • Complete a level without a mistake.
  • Complete a level in 60 seconds.
  • Found all objects.
  • Clear all levels in single attempt.
  • Found all objects in a level.

Trip to India Game Options:
  • The game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the 'Sound On/Off' button located at the top just to the left of the horn.

Trip to India Playing Tips:
  • As you repeat a level you will begin to remember what some of the hidden objects look like. This makes it easier to get through a level.

Comments: Trip to India has a nice mixture of easy and hard to find objects. The truly outstanding feature is the dynamic element of hiding the hidden objects in different locations each time you play the game. This makes the game much more interesting and challenging.

Ultimate Chess

Game Description: Play chess against the computer in this entertaining, and uniquely animated chess game.

How to Play Ultimate Chess:
  • Click the 'Play' button.
  • Your chess pieces are the white pieces at the bottom of the board.
  • The computer's chess pieces are the black pieces at the top.
  • White, that's you, always takes the first turn. After that, play alternates between you and the computer.
  • Standard chess rules apply. (If you have never played chess before you can click the 'chess rules' button on the main menu. Ultimate Chess provides a rather entertaining explanation of how to play chess. Yes they do add a lot of fluff and silliness, but they also do a rather good job of explaining what chess is all about).
  • To move one of your pieces first click on the piece you would like to move. Then, to complete your move, click on the space where you would like to move to.
  • When you click on one of your chess pieces you are not committed to moving that piece. If you should change your mind, simply click on a different piece.
  • If you are not happy with the outcome of your move, simply take it back by hitting the 'undo turn' button.
  • Ultimate Chess does allow castling both on the queen's side and on the king's side. If you are not sure what castling is all about you can click the 'chess rules' button on the main menu and then click the 'next page' button 8 times in succession. On the page titled 'Castling' Ultimate Chess will give you a full explanation of castling and even show you how it's done.
  • Ultimate Chess also recognizes the en passant capture. If you are not familiar with the en passant move you can click the 'chess rules' button on the main menu and then click the 'next page' button 7 times in succession. On the page titled 'En Passant' Ultimate Chess will give you a full explanation of this special move and even show you how it's done.
  • A stalemate occurs if a player has no legal moves and is not in check. (If you would like to see an example of a stalemate you can click the 'chess rules' button on the main menu and then click the 'next page' button 12 times in succession. On the page titled 'Stalemate' Ultimate Chess will give you a clear example along with a full explanation).
  • Ultimate Chess does not recognize the standard draw rules of threefold repetition or the fifty-move rule. But if you would like to learn a little more about these draw rules, just for the sake of learning, you can click the 'chess rules' button on the main menu and then click the 'next page' button 13 times in succession. This will take you to the page titled 'Other Possible Endings' where you can read more about this.







Ultimate Chess Playing Tips:
  • The bishops and pawns, although they are not identical looking, they do look similar enough to get them confused if you do not look carefully. Remember this. The bishops have pointed hats, while the pawns have a round shape at the top of their hats. Also, the bishops have a full beard and the pawns only have a moustache.

Pro: Click on one of your chess pieces and it talks to you. I mean, how clever is that? Whenever a piece is captured, either by you or by your opponent, you will see a brief and entertaining animation. (There are 50 different animations in all). Yes, Ultimate Chess is quite unusual and certainly entertaining. But in addition to all of its theatrics it also produces a decent game of chess. It certainly is not of the caliber of Spark Chess (my toughest computer chess game, to date, that I have here on Richard's Game Reviews) but it is infinitely better than Flash Chess (probably the easiest computer chess game I have on my site). Although the computer will sometimes make blunders and is relatively easy to defeat, if you are an average chess player (I am not really sure what average means in regards to chess) Ultimate Chess should probably give you at least a decent challenge and provide a lot of fun along the way.

Con: Unlike most computer chess games Ultimate Chess does not light up the board when you click on a piece and show you all possible moves. If you are an experienced chess player you will not need, or miss, this feature. But, if you are new to chess, not having this feature is going to make it somewhat hard to play until you gain a little experience.

Bashing Pumpkins

Game Description: Hundreds of jumping, orange jack-o’-lanterns are popping up at an alarming rate of speed at various landmarks all over the world. What on earth is happening? Is this the invasion we have been expecting or some freakish pumpkin awakening? Either way, run for the hills!

How to Play Bashing Pumpkins:
  • Click the 'Play' button.
  • Bash the pumpkins by moving your mouse over each one as they appear. (No mouse clicking is needed. Simply move your mouse).
  • There are 455 pumpkins. How many can you bash before time runs out?

Bashing Pumpkins Playing Tips:
  • When there are a lot of pumpkins emanating from the same spot, and they are all moving in the same direction, the best thing you can do is to place your mouse in a stationary position and let the pumpkins run into your mouse. This saves a lot of time.

Pro: Bashing Pumpkins packs a lot of fun into a very short amount of time. It is controlled mayhem at its best!

Extraction Reaction

How to Play Extraction Reaction:
  • Once the game fully loads, click the 'Play' button.
  • On the next screen, you will see some legal mumbo jumbo. Click the 'Approve' button.
  • Should the Game Rules screen display, click the 'Close' button to close this screen and begin game play.
  • You begin the game with 3 lives. Your lives are represented by the pink hearts at the left side of the game screen.
  • The clock is near the upper left corner.
  • Use the forceps to remove the marble by clicking and dragging it through the body.
  • Be careful. If you brush up against an organ or the body cavity, you lose a life. You also lose a life if the time gets down to zero.
  • If you are able to get the marble all the way to the yellow END line successfully, you will earn points and go on to the next level.
  • The game ends when you lose your last life.
  • If you would like to play the game over again, click the 'Play' button. (If you click the 'Quit' button you will get a server error).

Extraction Reaction Game Options: There are two game options. Neither of these options are available from the main game screen. You can only access these buttons during actual game play. (You will see them at the bottom).
  • The game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the microphone icon. This button is located to the left of the Level indicator.
  • The level may be reset by clicking the icon to the right of the Level indicator. (This button looks sort of like a circle with a vertical line near the top). Clicking this button is similar to pausing the game, but not exactly the same. It does allow you to take a break if you wish. But, it is not a true pause button in that it will not return the screen exactly as you left it. It will put all of the time back on the clock, but it will also move the marble back to its starting position. So, like I said, it is similar to pausing the game; yet it is a little different.

Extraction Reaction Playing Tips:
  • The faster you can get through a level, the more points you will score. But remember, the most important thing is to get through each level successfully without losing any of your lives.

Comments: This game requires a decent amount of concentration, along with steady nerves, and a steady hand. The game's graphics, which are outstanding, make Extraction Reaction a definite winner!

Chicktionary

Game Description: Hatch up some fun with this egg-citing word game! Unscramble letters and find as many words as you can. Chicktionary is sure to delight, amuse, and challenge word lovers whether they live on the farm or in the city!

How to Play Chicktionary:
  • After the game fully loads, click the 'Play Game' button.
  • On the next screen, click the 'Play Timed Mode' button. (The 'Play Untimed Mode' and the 'Play Saved Game' buttons are locked, and are only available by way of a game download).
  • At the beginning of each round you get to bet how well you think you can do. That is, how many words you do think you can spell before the time is up? There are 3 choices. The higher you bet, the more bonus points you earn. But don't bet too high, because if you fail to cover your bet the game will be over! (The highest bet is locked, at least to me so far. It is labeled 'Power Players Only'. I am not sure if the highest bet is available at some point in the version of Chicktionary that I have here, or if this is only available in the download version).
  • There are 7 hens.
  • Each hen lays an egg with a letter in it.
  • Use the letters to spell as many words as you can before the time runs out.
  • To spell a word, you can either use your keyboard or your mouse. (Hint: If you know how to touch-type, use your keyboard. Using your keyboard is much faster, even if you type slow, than using the mouse).
  • To use your keyboard, you simply type the letters you want to use. Press your ENTER key to submit a word. Use your BACKSPACE key to erase the last letter. The ESC key will erase all letters. The SPACE BAR will scramble up all of the letters and help you get a different perspective.
  • To use your mouse, click the hens in order and watch the word appear. Click the ENTER button on the game screen to submit your word. Click the CLEAR button on the game screen to erase all letters. Click the SCRAMBLER button on the game screen to scramble up the letters to help you get a different perspective.
  • Score 100 points for each 3 letter word.
  • Score 200 points for each 4 letter word.
  • Score 400 points for each 5 letter word.
  • Score 800 points for each 6 letter word.
  • Score 1,600 points for each 7 letter word.
  • For each round, the 7 letters you have to work with are guaranteed to spell at least one 7 letter word.
  • The words you have already spelled will be shown at the top of the screen.
  • If you are able to spell enough words to cover your bet, you go on to the next round of play.
  • If you fail to spell enough words to cover your bet... it is game over!

Chicktionary Game Options:
  • To turn the game sounds on or off, first click the 'Options' button located at the right side. Make your selection of 'On' or 'Off'. Then, click the 'Ok' button.

Chicktionary Playing Tips:
  • If you know how to type by touch, definitely use your keyboard. Using your keyboard is much faster than using your mouse.
  • Pay attention to the two buttons immediately to the left of the clock. The first button is labeled 'Word' and the second button is labeled 'Duplicate'. When the 'Word' button shows green you know you have a legitimate word. So, click ENTER to score this word. When the 'Duplicate' button shows red you know that you must either add at least one more letter, or change at least one letter.
  • Use your SPACE BAR or the SCRAMBLER button to mix up the letters and help you get a different perspective.
  • Watch the words at the top (that is, the words you have already spelled). Looking at these can often help you spell words that are similar.
  • If one of the eggs show the letter 'S', don't forget to make plural words. Plurals are fast and easy to spell and can really bump up your score.
  • Try to spell longer words. Longer words score more!
  • Hint: If you can get all the words in a round, you get 10,000 bonus points!

Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe

Game Description: Play 20 challenging levels of tripeaks solitaire.

How to Play Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe:
  • Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe is a card game played with a standard deck of 52 cards.
  • Click the 'New Game' button. (Even if you are returning to play an existing saved game of Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe you still must click the 'New Game' button).
  • There are 20 levels of play.
  • Click on the level you wish to play. (Only unlocked levels may be played. If this is your very first time playing Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe only Level 1 will be unlocked and available. As you win each level, the next level will unlock. So after you win Level 1, the lock for Level 2 will disappear and you will be able to play that level and so forth).
  • Each level begins with some cards dealt face down on the tableau overlapping each other, and a few cards dealt face up.
  • The tableau formation for each level is unique, and is always repeated each time the level is played.
  • The remaining cards form the stock (the face down cards at the bottom) and the first card of the waste pile (the face up card immediately to the right of the stock).
  • Your goal is to move all cards from the tableau to the waste pile before or after the last card from the stock is discarded to the waste pile.
  • Cards rank as usual: A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, and K.
  • For a card in the tableau to be moved to the waste pile, it must be one rank higher or lower. For instance, if the waste pile shows a 7, any 6 or any 8 may be moved. (In tripeaks, suits do not matter. Only rank counts).
  • Any Ace may be moved on any King, and any King may be moved on any Ace.
  • When a card is moved to the waste pile that card becomes the new top card and the process is repeated several times (e.g. 8-9-10-J-10-J-Q-K-A-K-A-2-3, etc.) until the sequence stops.
  • As play takes place, any face down cards on the tableau that are no longer overlapped are automatically turned face up and are immediately available for any possible play.
  • When a sequence ends, and there are no more possible plays from the tableau, click the next card in the stock and try to begin a new sequence.
  • The game clock is at the upper right corner.
  • You have 3 minutes to complete each round.
  • If you are able to remove all of the cards from the tableau before time runs out you win and go on to the next level of play.
  • If you lose you may repeat a level until you are able to win.
  • After you win a level click the 'Quit To Menu' button. (Don't worry. This will not erase any of your scores). It will simply take you to the 'Select Level - Click To Play' screen where you will select your next level of play.
  • After each card from the tableau is placed on the waste pile the bonus meter indicator (the blue bar at the top), increases a bit. When it's filled all the way to the right and rings the bell, a bonus is awarded to the player. The indicator keeps decreasing, so move fast!
  • Earn a Time Bonus for successfully finishing a level quickly.
  • Earn a Card Bonus of 100 points for each card that remains in the stock when you successfully complete a level.
  • Your total score is made up from all of the levels you have won. That score will show at the bottom of the 'Select Level - Click To Play' screen.
  • You may also replay any level you have previously won to try to earn a higher score for that level. (If you happen to get a lower score than you previously had... no problem. Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe will automatically keep your highest score for each level).
  • Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe will automatically save all of your level scores and game progress. Then, using the same computer, come back and continue your game.







Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe Game Options:
  • The game sounds, which are minimal anyway, may be turned on or off by clicking the 'Music On/Off' button which is located at the bottom of the game screen. This button is visible only during game play.

Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe Playing Tips:
  • As with all tripeaks games, the order in which you play your cards is always the most important factor. This determines how long your sequences will be. This simply takes experience.
  • Pay close attention to the bonus meter indicator (the blue bar at the top). When you play your tableau cards fast enough the bonus meter will fill up and ring the bell. These bonus points are huge! So, definitely try for these.
  • Even though you want to power up the bonus meter indicator as much as possible, try not to play so quickly that you start missing some moves. A lot of these levels on Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe are quite difficult. So if you miss a move, or two, it becomes unlikely that you will win your level.

Richard's Rating: 3 out of 5.

Pro: If you enjoy tripeaks solitaire, I think you will probably enjoy playing Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe.

Con: The only complaint I have with Cardmania Tripeaks Deluxe is the relative poor quality of the graphics, especially those of the cards themselves. While the cards are not blurry, they are certainly not as crisp or as sharp as they could have been.

Pac vs Alien

Game Description: Pac and his girlfriend were enjoying a lovely day on the sea coast. Suddenly a flying UFO appeared and kidnapped Pac's girlfriend. Help Pac free his girlfriend and punish the Alien.

How to Play Pac vs Alien:
  • Once the game fully loads, click the yellow 'Play Game' button.
  • Next, click the green 'Play Game' button.
  • There are 15 levels.
  • Each level has a mini-game to play.
  • All of the games are played with the left mouse button only. The keyboard is never used.
  • When you are able to complete each game, you go on to the next level.
  • When you fail a level, click the 'Replay' button to play the game again.
  • You get an unlimited number of tries to complete each game. So, you can play each game until you succeed.
  • After you fail a level several times, Pac vs Alien will offer you a 'Skip' button which will allow you to skip the level if you wish and go immediately to the next game.
  • The 'Skip' button, which is usually located below and to the right of the 'Replay' button, is not a one time offer. If you choose to replay the game Pac vs Alien will offer you the option of skipping the game again and again. Sometimes this offer will occur immediately. Sometimes you will need to play the game several more times until the 'Skip' button option is offered to you again.
  • The clock is located at the top of the game screen near the upper right corner, just to the left of the sound button. The clock will show you how much time you have used as you progress through the 15 levels of play.
  • Try to solve each mini-game as quickly as possible.
  • At the end of the last level you will receive a final score based on the total time taken to play all of the 15 games.
  • The more time you take, the higher your final score will be. (I would also assume, although I have not verified this, that using the 'Skip' button would give you some type of penalty and make your score even higher).
  • Your goal is to achieve the lowest final score you possibly can.

Pac vs Alien Game Options:
  • The game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the sound button located at the upper right corner.

Pac vs Alien Playing Tips: There are 15 mini-games. Here is a brief description of each game along with some game playing tips to perhaps help you do just a little bit better.
  • Game #1 -- Pac fell into the water and was attacked by sinister piranhas. There are 5 fish. Each fish is a different size. Your task here is to help Pac eat all of the fish before any eat him. You do this only by eating each fish starting with the smallest fish and working your way up to the biggest fish one size at a time. So, you simply move Pac with your mouse and run into the smallest fish first, then the next biggest fish and so on. If any of the fish other than the smallest remaining fish run into Pac you lose, and you will need to replay the level. This game is probably one of the easiest games of the 15, and you should not have much difficulty here.
  • Game #2 -- After Pac deals with the hungry piranhas, he gets out of the water and immediately heads towards helping his girlfriend. In this mini-game there are a number of obstacles that you must help Pac jump over. The obstacles travel from right to left toward Pac. You jump over the obstacles by clicking your left mouse button and holding it down long enough until you can clear each obstacle. This game is really a matter of timing and rhythm. You can watch Pac's progress on the line below the game. You must get Pac all the way to the end of the line (at the right) to win. Otherwise, you will need to replay the game. I found this game to be one of the tougher ones for me until I got the hang of it.
  • Game #3 -- In this game there are 3 monsters. You have to shoot each monster and kill it before any of the monsters reach Pac. You shoot the monsters by placing the cross hairs on each moving monster and click as fast as you can with your left mouse button. You cannot kill a monster with a single shot. It takes many shots to kill each monster. The trick here is knowing that your shots will only have an affect on the monster in front. If you shoot any of the behind monsters your shots will have no effect whatsoever. Tip: I really struggled with this mini-game until I decided to use two hands instead of one. I moved my mouse with my right hand to keep it on top of the monster and I used my left index finger to shoot. Personally, I found it was much easier to click my mouse more quickly by doing it this way. If you, too, find this game difficult you may want to try this same technique.
  • Game #4 -- Pac is tired and needs a snack. In this game there are 10 edible mushrooms and 10 poison mushrooms. Move your mouse and click on each edible mushroom before the time is up. (The time is indicated by the green bar at the left which drains from top to bottom). Win this game by only clicking all of the edible mushrooms before the time is up and avoid clicking the poison mushrooms.
  • Game #5 -- Pac met a wise man who advised him to jump into the well. In this mini-game you must shoot Pac from a cannon into the well.
  • Game #6 -- Pac is now inside the well but he can't submerge to the bottom. Keep clicking your mouse faster and faster to help Pac reach the bottom before time runs out. (The allowable time is indicated by the green bar at the left that drains from top to bottom). Tip: Make sure your mouse pointer is somewhere within the game screen or your clicking will have no affect.
  • Game #7 -- In this game you must assemble the picture of Pac's face by clicking each individual piece to rotate it into the correct position. You must complete the picture before time runs out. (Once again, the allowable time is indicated by the green bar at the left that drains from top to bottom).
  • Game #8 -- In this mini-game you have to assemble an aircraft before the time is up. (Once again, the allowable time is indicated by the green bar at the left that drains from top to bottom). There are 7 different pieces to this puzzle. There are 3 legs and 4 top pieces. Drag them with your mouse inside of the outline in the center. Tip: You do not need to place each piece in any particular place. The only requirement is that each of the 7 pieces is placed somewhere inside of the dashed outline before time is up. Once inside of the dashed outline the pieces will automatically go where they should.
  • Game #9 -- Pac repaired the aircraft and now he has to fly it through the cave. Click your left mouse button to let the aircraft go up, release it to let the aircraft go down. This game requires holding down and releasing the mouse quickly and in a controlled way to fly the aircraft safely through the cave without hitting the stalactites and stalagmites. You can watch your progress on the line below the game. You must get Pac all the way to the end of the line (at the right) to win. This, for me, is probably the most difficult game of the whole lot.
  • Game #10 -- You're now located in the cave full of power-producing elements. Help Pac to collect all of the necessary elements and fill the aircraft for the interplanetary journey. Tip: In this game no clicking is needed. All you have to do is to move your mouse around and pick up the elements. Of all of the mini-games, this may be the easiest one.
  • Game #11 -- Pac is flying in open space. Help Pac avoid all of the asteroids. You can watch your progress on the line at the right. Pac begins at the bottom. To win this game you have to get Pac all the way to the top of the line. Tip: This game only requires side to side mouse movement. (You cannot move your spacecraft up or down). If you can get your spacecraft all the way to either the extreme left or right side sometimes it is easier because sometimes, but not always, you may encounter less asteroids in those areas.
  • Game #12 -- You can now see the alien's planet. You must now help Pac defeat the enemy aircrafts that are waiting for him. Click your left mouse button to fire. Destroy all of the 15 enemy spacecraft without getting hit by enemy fire. Tip: After you fire you can go to the extreme left or right to sometimes protect yourself from enemy fire. Then, move back towards the center to fire once again. You must work quickly because the enemy spacecraft will start moving down the screen toward your own spacecraft. As they move down, this gives you less and less reaction time. So, a good technique is to fire a lot of shots quickly at the very beginning and try to take out a lot of the enemy spacecraft before they have a chance to advance.
  • Game #13 -- Pac is now ready to battle the alien himself. Pac's spacecraft hovers above the alien. Use mouse movement to move from side to side. Click with your left mouse button to throw bombs at the alien. But be careful. The alien possesses a secret lethal weapon... the claw!
  • Game #14 -- Now that Pac has defeated the alien he is ready to start searching for his girlfriend. But first he must reach the 'x' in the maze. Move Pac by clicking with your mouse and get him to the 'x' at the center of the maze before time runs out. (Once again, the allowable time is indicated by the green bar at the left that drains from top to bottom).
  • Game #15 -- Finally, there is Pac's girlfriend but she is behind the stone wall! This mini-game is an Arkanoid type game. Help Pac break all of the obstacles in order to rescue his girlfriend.

Pro: Pac vs Alien sparkles with graphics and animations that are simple, yet unbelievably imaginative and clever. Each scene begins with a giant pencil that draws Pac or some other object that is integral to the game you are about to play. I mean, how cool is that? There are 15 mini-games to play and each one offers up something different. I defy anyone to play this game and not have fun. It would be virtually impossible. Yes, it really is that good!

Game Description: Sneaky, the Super Sneaky Spy Guy, has gone international! This time he is in London. There are several hidden items that need to be found. Use your magnifying glass to take a closer look!

How to Play Sneaky's Road Trip London:
  • There are 145 possible items to be found.
  • All of the items you are searching for are listed on the left side of each game screen.
  • Click on the magnifying glass to turn it on or off. You can use the magnifying glass at any time.
  • When you find an item, click on it with your left mouse button. The found item will disappear from the screen.
  • Try not to click anything other than items, or you will be penalized 5 seconds.
  • The more items you can find, and the faster you can find them, the higher you will score!
  • Once you find all of the items you will automatically move on to the next level of play.
  • Should you be unable to find every item you may click the 'Skip' button to move to the next level. However, once you click 'Skip' you cannot go back.
  • There are 5 fun-filled levels of play.

Sneaky's Road Trip London Game Options:
  • Click the 'Pause' button, at any time, to take a break and rest your eyes. To resume, click the 'Play' button.
  • Click the 'Sound' button to turn the music on or off.

Sneaky's Road Trip London Playing Tips:
  • Don't forget to search near the edges of each picture. Sometimes, the hidden items are there.
  • When you click, make sure that you click directly on the object. Or else you will get a 5 second penalty.
  • On Level 2, the large White Arrow on the back of the last double-decker bus is not of one of the White Arrows you are searching for. It is a decoy.

Pro: You have probably guessed, if you have read some of my other reviews, that I am a big fan of the Sneaky games, especially the Sneaky Road Trip games. What I like most about these games is the consistent high quality you get. The pictures are always beautiful. There is always a nice combination of easy and hard to find hidden objects. And of course that familiar, mesmerizing, and wonderful music. It is so soothing, don't you think? By the way, my only complaint about these games has always been the lack of a control to turn off the background music. Although I love the music, I always said it would be so nice to have the option to turn it off and on. Well, much to my delight the game developer, Melting-Mindz, has done exactly that with Sneaky's Road Trip London. (Should I get the credit for my constant complaining about this? lol). Another thing I like, and yes I have mentioned it before but it is worth mentioning again, is the addition of the 'Skip' button. The early Sneaky's Road Trip games did not have a 'Skip' button and you were required to find every single hidden object in order to advance to the next level. The addition of the 'Skip' button was a major improvement. This makes the game much more user-friendly. If you are already a Sneaky fan you will definitely enjoy playing Sneaky's Road Trip London. Letter Twist

Game Description: Letter Twist is a fast-paced word game in which you try to unscramble words by swapping letters.

How to Play Letter Twist:
  • Click the 'Play' button.
  • There are two rows of letters.
  • Each row of letters represents a word.
  • Click on the letters to unscramble the words.
  • Letters can only be moved up or down, but never sideways.
  • The clock is at the upper left.
  • Your energy is shown by the vertical tube on the right. It drains from top to bottom as your energy decreases.
  • The fewer clicks you make, the higher you will score.
  • Don't make too many clicks or you will lose energy.
  • Solve all of the word scrambles before your energy is depleted to make it to the next level.
  • Sometimes Letter Twist will show a brief advertisement after you successfully complete a level. When this occurs, wait for the ad to play. Then, click the 'Continue' button to play the next level.
  • If time runs out, your energy starts to decrease very quickly.
  • The game ends when all of your energy is gone.

Letter Twist Game Options:
  • The game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the microphone icon located at top.
  • The music may be turned on or off by clicking the musical note icon also located at top.

Letter Twist Playing Tips:
  • It is not necessary to figure out both of the words. In fact, there isn't time to do that. Try concentrating on just one of the words and ignore the other one. If you can figure out what one of the words will be, the other word will of course be automatically correct.
  • Look for letter combinations that you know are correct. This can help you to start building words. For instance, if the first column shows the letters S and T; and the second column shows the letters A and T, you know that the T in the second column must be on the same row as the S in the first column because no word begins with the letters TT.
  • Occasionally you may come up with two legitimate words but still not be correct. This is because even though your words are real words they just happen not to be the words that Letter Twist is "thinking" of. This does not happen very often but when it does happen you will, of course, need to form new words until you come up with the right ones.
  • Listen for the warning sound when your energy is getting dangerously low. You will have to work fast!
  • The more clicks you make, the faster your energy decreases. Try not to make too many random guesses unless, of course, you hear the warning sound and become desperate. Then, you may just have to just go for it. Sometimes, you can guess right and avoid disaster!

Pro: Letter Twist is one of the better word games I have seen in quite sometime. If you enjoy word games, I think you will find that Letter Twist is an excellent game to play.

Con:
  • There seems to be no way to pause the game. This game definitely could have used a pause button.
  • It would have been a nice touch when you lose if Letter Twist would give you the right answer on the word scramble that stumped you. It doesn't. But, at least before you hit the 'Play Again' button the game does allow you to see your failed effort and you can look at it and try to figure out the correct solution yourself.
