Game Description: Play a game of cards against the computer. Whoever plays the highest card, wins each trick!
How to Play Bird Pax:
- Each player is dealt a hand of six cards.
- On each card there is an image of a bird with a family indication (a color), and a number. The number indicates the bird's wingspan in centimeters. In this game, larger wingspan means a stronger card!
- The player who won the last round starts the current one by placing one card on the table, then the second player does the same.
- The player who placed the card with the larger wingspan wins both cards.
- When both players' cards are of the same family and/or value, there is a tie. This is called a "Pax". For each Pax that occurs each player will risk three random cards taken from the top of each pile, and places them down on the table. A fourth card from the top of the pile will determine who won all the cards on the table. If the families or values equal again, another round of Pax will begin.
- You can use a card to aid another from the same family. If your opponent countered your first card with a stronger one, you can put a second card from the same family on the table adding its wingspan to the first card. Your opponent can do the same. If you happen to hold a third card from the same family you can then add it, and so on.
- In order to win a level you should earn as many cards and wingspan as you can. The more you advance in levels, the more wingspan you will have to accumulate in order to win. You can estimate your status by the feather indicator on the right side of the table.
- Should you lose, you may repeat a level as many times as you need until you succeed.
- As long as you use the same computer, Bird Pax should automatically save your game progress. Then, the next time you play, you can begin where you last left off. (Just remember to click the 'Continue game' button, instead of the 'Play' button).

I have played Bird Pax about 4 times, and each time after I win level 18 the game will not allow me to go any farther without some sort of login. Apparently, this must be a feature that is built into the game itself. There are several login options available including facebook, twitter, myspace, and mochigames. I do have a mochigames account, and a facebook account. However when I tried to login with mochigames, for some unexplained reason, I was unsuccessful. I have not yet tried to login with facebook. So the bottom line is this. You can play the first 18 levels of Bird Pax here on my site, which will certainly give you a lot of pleasure. But if you want to go beyond level 18, I am not sure if you can play it here, or if that would require that you play it someplace else.
