Game Description: Meet the first multiplayer solitaire game on the web... TriPeakz! Play the classic game of tripeaks solitaire and compete against other players from all over the world in real-time!
How to Play TriPeakz:
You will need to have Adobe Flash Player 9.0, or later, installed on your computer to play TriPeakz. If you play other games here on Richard's Game Reviews, chances are you already do. But, if not, click here to install.
If this is your first time playing TriPeakz, type your player name in the 'New Player' box. (Your player name is the name other people will see when they play you. You will also see their player name. Your player name may be your first name, or any other name you choose). After you type in your player name, click the 'Accept' button.
Click the 'Play Online' button.
If you see a screen that says 'Instructions', click the 'Close' button to close this screen and begin play.
You will see a brief screen that says 'Connecting to Server.' This should only take a few moments.
Each level begins with some cards dealt face down near the bottom of the game screen (the pack), 1 card face up immediately to the right of the pack (the discard pile), and numerous cards with some face up and some face down (the playing field). There will also be some 'R' cards dealt to the lower left bottom of the game screen.(More on this later).
The goal of TriPeakz is to move the entire playing field unto the discard pile before the pack runs out of cards and, if possible, before your online opponent can do the same to his/her cards.
A card may be moved from the playing field unto the discard pile when it is one card higher or lower. For example if the discard pile shows a 7, any 6 or any 8 may be moved from the playing field unto the pile.
Build sequences until the playing field is clear. For instance: 3, 2, A, K, Q, J, 10, J, Q, K, A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, 3... The order can be ascending, descending or both.
Use your left mouse button to move a card from the playing field to the discard pile by clicking on it. (The card will automatically move as long as it is eligible to do so and any face down cards from the field that are freed up will automatically turn face up).
When you run out of moves from the playing field, click the pack. This will automatically overturn the top card from the pack and place that card face up on the discard pile and play begins again.
Use an 'R' card (near the lower left corner) to remove any card from the playing field. To use an 'R' card, first click on the 'R' card. Then, click on any card from the playing field to remove it. (Note: the card will only be removed from the playing field. It will not go to the discard pile where you can build on it).
A few cards have a yellow background. When you make a play on a card with a yellow background, this earns you an additional 'R' card.
A card with a large yellow 'J' pictured on it, is a wild card. A wild card can cover any card. And any card can cover a wild card.
You can use the 'Undo' button to cancel your last move.
Use the 'Hint' button to show you a possible move.
If you are able to remove all cards from the playing field before the pack runs out you win the level, and you go on to the next level. Should you fail, you may repeat a level until you succeed.
Remember, as far as completing a level is concerned, it does not matter what your opponent does. It only matters what you do. If you clear all of the cards from the field before the pack runs out, you advance to the next level. If you don't, you must repeat the level.
TriPeakz Scoring:
At the same time you are playing your game you will see your opponents game in real-time on a separate panel, at the right side of the game screen. Your opponent will also see your game progress on his/her screen.
If you are able to complete the level before your opponent does, or if your opponent has already lost, you'll get his score as a bonus. (What this means is, you will get whatever points your opponent had achieved at the exact time you finished. Of course, your opponent will keep playing on his own and still try to win his game. But, by then, you will likely already be playing your next live opponent)!
If your opponent is able to complete the level before you do, your opponent will get your score as his or her bonus but you do not lose any points yourself.
Sometimes, when you reach the higher levels of play, the server may not be able to find you an online opponent because there is no one available who is playing the same level you are at the exact same time. You can either wait and play later, or just go ahead and play the level yourself without an opponent. You can still collect your own points should you be able to complete the level successfully.
TriPeakz Game Options: The game options may be accessed by clicking the 'Options' button located on the main game screen. After you change the options, click the 'Accept' button to save your changes. The game options are as follows:
The sound volume may be set in increments of 10, from 100 down to zero (off).
The music volume may also be set in increments of 10, from 100 down to zero (off).
The window size button will not function here at Richard's Game Reviews. So, just leave it as it is.
TriPeakz Playing Tips:
TriPeakzwill always show you how many cards remain in the pack, and how many 'R' cards you have. So, be aware of this.
Each level of TriPeakz will have a different layout. For certain layouts where there are only a couple of cards that cover lots of other cards you may need to use your 'R' cards early in a round to free up more cards. However, if you can keep your 'R' cards until the very end this often can help you win the level and defeat your online opponent.
Don't forget to use your wild cards.
Use your 'Undo' button. Your 'Undo' button can help you to defeat your online opponent and win a level. So, just remember that it is there to use.
Richard's Rating: 4 out of 5.
Comments: The multiplayer aspect of TriPeakz adds a brilliant, and a whole new element of fun to this traditional solitaire game. If you like tripeaks solitaire, you will absolutely love this game!
Game Description: Enjoy a cool multiplayer version of the classic Bubble Shooter game! You will compete against other players from all over the world in real-time!
How to Play Bubblez:
You will need to have Adobe Flash Player 9.0, or later, installed on your computer to play Bubblez. If you play other games here on Richard's Game Reviews, chances are you already do. But, if not, click here to install.
If this is your first time playing Bubblez, type your player name in the 'New Player' box.
You will shoot bubbles from a shooter by clicking your left mouse button.
Your goal is to match three or more bubbles of the same color causing them to explode.
If you are able to clear all bubbles from the field before any bubble reaches the bottom you will have successfully completed the level, and you go on to the next level.
If any bubble reaches the bottom your score for that level will be zero. You keep the points you already had (before you started the level) and you may repeat the level as many times as you want until you are able to complete the level and advance.
Remember, as far as completing a level is concerned, it does not matter what your opponent does. It only matters what you do. If you clear all bubbles from the field before any bubble reaches the bottom you advance to the next level. If any of your bubbles reach the bottom, you must repeat the level.
Bubblez Scoring:
At the same time you are playing your game you will see your opponents game in real-time on a separate panel, at the right side of the game screen. Your opponent will also see your game progress on his/her screen.
If you are able to complete the level before your opponent does, or if your opponent has already lost, you'll get his score as a bonus. (What this means is, you will get whatever points your opponent had achieved at the exact time you finished. Of course, your opponent will keep playing on his own and still try to win his game. But, by then, you will likely already be playing your next live opponent!)
If your opponent is able to complete the level before you do, your opponent will get your score as his or her bonus but you do not lose any points yourself.
The scoring for Bubblez is somewhat deceptive. If you become really good at the game you will finish a level quickly and make less points. On the other hand, if you struggle mightily, but eventually win your level you will make tons of points. (Even more than a top notch player who finished quickly and earned bonus points by defeating his online opponent).
Bubblez Game Options: The game options may be accessed by clicking the 'Options' button located on the main game screen. After you change the options, click the 'Accept' button to save your changes. The game options are as follows:
The sound volume may be set in increments of 10, from 100 down to zero (off).
The music volume may also be set in increments of 10, from 100 down to zero (off).
The full screen button, even if turned to 'On', will not function here at Richard's Game Reviews. So, just leave it as it is.
Bubblez Playing Tips:
The easiest way to make an accurate shot is to place your mouse cursor on your target bubble. Then shoot.
Keep an eye on the next upcoming bubble. Knowing the color of the next bubble can help you strategize.
When you play Bubblez what will invariably happen is this. You will get separate strands of bubbles hanging from the top of the game screen. Try to make shots that hit high up on the stands near the top. This will cause all of the lower attached bubbles (no matter what their color) to break off and fall (as long as they are not attached elsewhere). Try to identify the point near the top where the strand is most vulnerable. That is the place to attack assuming you have the right color bubble to shoot and can get a clear shot. Think of it like this. Pretend the bubbles are grapes. When you attack the bottom grapes you can only pick off a few at a time. But, if you can attack at the most vulnerable point high up it is like picking a whole cluster of grapes at once.
When you have a colored bubble, and you do not see any place you really want to shoot it, what should you do? The answer is clear. Always shoot it into an existing strand. (If possible, try to shoot it near a single bubble of the same color. Later, you may have the opportunity to match these two bubbles with the next bubble you are shooting). The absolute worst thing you can do is to shoot it all the way to the top of the game screen. Because, if you do, that bubble that missed everything and went all the way to the top is like a seed. It will start a brand new strand and you will have many new bubbles to deal with, which is exactly what you do not want to happen.
Learn the bank shot. Often, you may not have a direct shot to your target. So, the best shot can be a bank shot that caroms off the side of the game screen finding its way to your target. You will be amazed at how easy this is with just a little practice.
The best way to have the most fun with Bubblez is to concentrate on trying to beat each opponent, and consider your score secondary.
Richard's Rating: 4 out of 5.
Pro:Bubblez would have been just an ordinary game, but the multiplayer aspect elevates it to a fantastic new level!
Con: The scoring system for Bubblez sometimes rewards poor play more than superior play.

Richard's Rating: 3 out of 5.
Pro: For fans of bike or racing games Uphill Rush will be a game you will want to play again and again.
Con:Uphill Rush may sometimes load somewhat slow. So, you may need some patience.
Game Description: Take turns against the computer, and find all of the enemy ships before it find yours.
How to Play Navy Battles:
Click the 'Start' button.
Position your 7 ships on the game board. There are two ways to position your ships. You may do it yourself by dragging the ships to the map. Double click a ship to rotate it. Or, you may let the computer position your ships for you by clicking the 'Auto Place' button. (If you don't like the computer's positioning you can still move the ships around by dragging and double clicking as much as you want).
After you are done positioning your ships, click 'Start.'
Your 7 ships are displayed on the left side of the game board. The computer's 7 ships are hidden somewhere on the right side of the board.
You will try to find and destroy the computer's fleet of ships before the computer can destroy yours.
It is your turn first. After the first turn, you and the computer will take turns until someone wins.
When it is your turn, you may use your mouse to click any single square on the right side of the board or you may use any of your available weapons displayed at the top.
For an air attack, first click on the airplane. Then, click the area of the board you want to attack. Your 3 airplanes will scatter 2 random shots each (for a total of 6 shots) around the general area where you click the board.
For a missle strike, first click the missle (this is the weapon in the middle). Then, click the area of the board you want to attack. Your missle will shoot a 3x3 grid for a total of 9 shots at the area of the board where you click.
For a guided torpedo attack, first click the torpedo. Then click anywhere on the computer's side of the board. You torpedo is guaranteed to find one of the computer's ships!
Anytime you hit one of the computer's ships you will see a red dot. Keep attacking until you destroy the ship completely. (You will see smoke rise when the ship is completely destroyed).
When you miss a target, you will see light blue circles on the squares where you missed.
Sometimes when you do not hit one of the computer's ships you may instead hit a new weapon you can use (an additional airplane, missle, or a guided torpedo). This can occur either when you are doing single square attacks by clicking with your mouse or when you are attacking multiple squares with your weapons. For instance, when you use a missle that takes out 9 squares you may find an additional airplane, a guided torpedo or even another missle. You will know this occurs because you will hear a chiming sound and the newly found weapon will appear lit up at the top of your game screen.
There are 3 rounds of play. If you win, you advance to the next round.
If the computer wins... it's game over!
When the game ends, you will have to refresh your page to play again.
Navy Battles Playing Tips:
You begin the first round with 2 airplanes, 1 missle, and 2 guided torpedos. The guided torpedo is your most powerful weapon because it will always find at least one of the computer's ships. I like to use my first guided torpedo on my first turn. After I completely destroy the computer's first ship, then I use my second guided torpedo. After I completely destroy the computer's second ship I use the rest of my weapons immediately. One of the things you will want to do is find additional weapons to use. Remember, it is a lot easier to find additional hidden weapons by using other weapons instead of trying to find them with a single mouse click. For instance, the missle takes out 9 squares at a time. So you are 9 times more likely to find an additional weapon with a missle than with a single mouse click. When you find any new weapons, use those weapons immediately too. There is no sense in keeping a weapon and not using it.
Richard's Rating: 4 out of 5.
Pro: There is much more to Naval Battles than you will find in your typical battleships game. The extra weapons are a very nice touch. And the special effects are simply outstanding. The airplanes, missles, and the guided torpedos are super. But, the best special effect of all is when the computer hits one of your ships. I know it is just an optical illusion, but it really feels like my computer is shaking! Hats off to the game developer.
Con: I don't see any volume control (a pet peeve of mine). So, you will have to adjust your computer speakers.

Game Description: Play chess against the computer.
How to Play Chess Master 2:
Click the 'Play Chess' button.
Your chess pieces are the blue pieces at the bottom. The computer's pieces are the red pieces at the top.
You move first.
Click on the piece you wish to move.
The board will light up, and show every possible move for the piece you have selected.
Should you change your mind, just click on another piece before completing your turn.
To complete your turn, click the square where you wish to move.
The game will allow you to castle, but only on the king's side. To castle on the king's side, first click your king. Then, click your king's side rook to complete the castling move. Chess Master 2 does not recognize castling on the queen's side.
Chess Master 2 also does not recognize the En passant move.
You and the computer take turns until someone wins, or the game ends in a draw.
To begin a new game, click the 'Reset Game' button.
Chess Master 2 Playing Tips:
Chess Master 2 moves its pieces very fast. So fast, in fact, you may not even see the move. Fortunately, Chess Master 2 nicely displays all moves made by you and the computer. First, look at the 'Move time' box in the upper right corner of the game screen. If it says 'YOU', then you know the computer has made its move. Now look in the 'LOGS MOVE' box. The computer's last move will be shown at the top of the list.
Richard's Rating: 3 out of 5.
Comments:Chess Master 2 proves to be a decent chess opponent. It is probably equal to Flash Chess 3 in terms of difficulity and is definitely a superior opponent when compared to both Flash Chess and ZnemChess. Overall, it a nice chess game!

Game Description: Play tennis against the computer.
How to Play Yahoo Tennis:
Click the 'Start' button.
The first match you will play is against CPU1 (computer opponent number 1).
For all matches you are always the player at the bottom in the striped shirt.
You serve the first game. After that, you and your computer opponent take turns serving.
Control your player by moving your mouse.
Click your left mouse button to shoot.
Standard tennis scoring applies.
The first player to win 4 games wins the match!
If the computer wins the match the game is over.
If you win the match you get to play the next player, CPU2.
Your ultimate goal is to win the tournament by defeating each opponent you encounter.
Yahoo Tennis Playing Tips:
Try clicking your mouse early, then hold it down and release when you are ready to shoot. Holding your mouse down positions your racket early, and gives you more power on your shots. Once you learn this simple technique, you can hit the ball with more power and you will win many more points.
When you serve, you can move your player along the baseline to get different serving angles.
Don't forget to charge the net. This is necessary to return a short shot by your opponent. It can also be a good offensive tactic if you can get comfortable playing at the net.
CPU2 serves much harder than CPU1. You will notice the difference immediately. The best way to return the serve of a player that serves hard is to click your mouse early and hold it down. Then, release your mouse when you are ready to shoot. Again, what this does is it gets your racket in 'hitting position' early. Using this effective technique, not only will you be able to return the serve of CPU2, but you will actually be able to return service winners!
Richard's Rating: 5 out of 5.
Comments: The superb graphics, and sounds, give this tennis game a very realistic feel. Yahoo Tennis is simply one of the best sports games I have here on Richard's Game Reviews! Take a little time to play, and I am sure you will agree. The better you get at this game, the more you will enjoy it!
Game Description: Help Indiana Jones find the the lost treasure of Pharaoh, but watch out for the booby traps set to stop you.
How to Play Indiana Jones & The Lost Treasure of Pharaoh:
Use your left, right, and up arrow keys to help Indiana Jones get through each level.
Make it through each level to get to the next one.
When you fail, you start at the beginning of the level you are currently on. (You do not have to go back to the beginning of the game).
You may repeat each level as many times as you need.
Indiana Jones & The Lost Treasure of Pharaoh Playing Tips:
This is Richard. I am not going to be much help with this one. I am stuck on level 2. Does anyone know how to get past the four trap doors? If you are able to figure this out, please post a comment below and explain how you do this.
Richard's Rating: 3 out of 5.
Pro:Indiana Jones & The Lost Treasure of Pharaoh seems to be quite fun. Thankfully there is no time limit to get through each level. Plus you get unlimited lives! And isn't it nice that when you do fail a level, that you simply get to start the level again, and you don't need to go back to the beginning of the game.
Con: It would have been nice to have had a control to mute, or quiet, the music. Instead, you will need to adjust your computer speakers.

Game Description: Play 18 holes of golf in a realistic game setting.
How to Play Golf Master 3D:
Click the 'New Game' button.
Select the direction of your shot by clicking on the left or right yellow arrows.
Select your club by clicking on the club button at the bottom of the game screen. (From the pop up menu select: Driver, Wood 5, Iron 5, Iron 7, Iron 9, Sand Wedge, or Putter).
Click the 'Strike' button and hold down your left mouse button to adjust the power of your shot. Release the mouse to shoot.
When your ball lands out of bounds, or in the water, you lose a shot, and you must replay the shot from the previous spot.
There are 18 holes to play. Par is 84.
Your goal, of course, is to complete the 18 holes using as few shots as possible.
Golf Master 3D Playing Tips:
Use the map on the right as your guide. This map shows the entire hole from tee to green including trees, sand traps, and water hazards. Watch the white arrow on this map. This shows the direction of your next planned shot. Also, use this map to watch the progress of your ball after you take each shot. Using this map will help you plan your next shot; including club selection, direction, and strength of shot.
The wind direction and wind speed change with each shot. (You can read the wind information at the upper right corner of the game screen). Do take the wind speed and direction into account when planning your shot because they will affect the flight of your ball.
When you are in a sand trap, sometimes the Wood 5 may be a better choice of club than the Sand Wedge.
When you are on the putting green use the yellow arrows to rotate your golfer. This allows you to can see the hole and line up your shot.
Richard's Rating: 5 out of 5.
Comments:Golf Master 3D is absolutely terrific! It is the most realistic golf game I have here on Richard's Game Reviews. It is truly a wonderful addition to my site!

Make a match with a sparkling jewel to destroy a large group of jewels, and power-up the Timer faster.
If you get stuck click the 'Hint' button, and Jewel Puzzle will point to a jewel you can move to make a match.
Richard's Rating: 3 out of 5.
Pro: If you want a challenging match 3 game, Jewel Puzzle fits the bill quite nicely!
Con:Jewel Puzzle is certainly a nice game to play, but to me it lacks a certain sophistication. It certainly is intense, but it lacks the subtlety of say, a Jewel Quest, or the charm of an Around the World in 80 Days.

Game Description:Magic Towers Solitaire is a fun and more skillful version of the classic game of tripeaks solitaire.
How to Play Magic Towers Solitaire:
Magic Towers Solitaire is a card game played with a standard deck of 52 cards. In addition, there is also one "wild card" (which looks like a face down card but is not actually part of the deck).
Each round begins with 18 cards dealt face down and 10 cards dealt face up. (These 28 cards form the layout, and are in the shape of three towers). There is also one card dealt face up at the bottom. This card is the first card in the discard pile. The remaing 23 cards form the deck and are left face down.
The object of the game is to move all 28 cards from the layout unto the discard pile, before the deck runs out of cards, to make it to the next round.
Any face up card from the layout that is either one rank lower or higher than the top card of the discard pile can be moved. For instance, if the top card on the discard pile is a 4, any 3 or 5 from the layout can be moved. (To move a card simply click on it).
Aces may be moved unto a King, and a King may be moved unto an Ace.
If you cannot move any cards from the layout onto the discard pile, click the next card button or the wild card.
The wild card (which again, is not actually a playing card) may be played at any time, but may only be used one time during a round. After you play the wild card, any face up card from the layout may be moved unto the wild card.
You may click the 'Undo' button, at any time, to undo your last move.
The game ends when you fail to clear all 28 cards from the layout.
Magic Towers Solitaire Game Scoring:
If you finish a round early, you get time bonus points.
Earn 5000 wild card bonus points for completing a round successfully without using the wild card.
Receive 1000 deck card bonus points for each card that remains in the deck when you successfully complete a round.
Earn a round number bonus for successfully completing a round. The round number bonus works like this: For round 1, earn 1000 round number bonus points. For round 2, earn 2000 round number bonus points. For round 3, earn 3000 round number bonus points, and so on.
Clicking the 'Undo' button will cost you 200 points for each click.
Magic Towers Solitaire Game Options:
The game may be paused by clicking the 'Menu' button located at the upper left corner of the game screen. Click the 'Resume' button to continue.
The game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the microphone icon located just under the 'Menu' button near the upper left corner.
Magic Towers Solitaire Playing Tips:
Make sure you don't miss any moves during a sequence by simply overlooking a move.
As in all tripeaks solitaire games the order in which you play your cards very often determines the length of a sequence. So, play your cards smartly.
Don't be afraid to use the 'Undo' button. This can sometimes help you win a round.
When you use your wild card very often determines whether or not you will win a round. As you gain experience, you will get a better sense of when to play your wild card.
When the last card is dealt from the deck the game will ask you to 'Take Points.' Do not take the points until you have played things out. Sometimes you may have plays remaining and can actually win the round! And even if you can't win, you will still want to earn any extra points you can by playing any of the remaining cards. So, always play everything out completely before you click on 'Take Points.'
Richard's Rating: 4 out of 5.
Comments:Magic Towers Solitaire is a delightful version of tripeaks solitaire with excellent graphics and special effects. Anyone who likes tripeaks should enjoy this game.
Please Note: Before playing Magic Towers Solitaire in Full Screen mode, you may want to take a moment, or two, to read my review. Then, after playing your game, simply click the back button on your browser to return to this page.

The power ups carry over to the next level. So try to use your power ups only when absolutely necessary. That is, only use a power up when one of the Golden Tiles gets dangerously close to the bottom.

Pro:Word Bump is quite lively!
Con:
Where is the Pause button? (If there is a Pause button it must be well hidden because I don't see one.) It seems the only time you can rest is between levels which is certainly a shame.
There also seems to be no way to save your game progress?
Word Bump seems too easy and can get rather monotonous level after level after level after level. You get the idea.
Game Description: Burst each ball to "paint" a picture in as little time as possible.
How to Play Balls Painting:
Aim with your mouse.
Left click to shoot a bullet.
When a bullet hits a ball, the ball will burst and scatter paint.
You must "paint" the whole picture by bursting balls in unpainted areas.
When the picture is complete, you may go to the next picture by clicking the 'Next Picture' button. (You may also go to the next picture before the picture is complete by clicking the 'End' button located at the lower right corner of the game screen. Then, click the 'Next Picture' button to continue the same game. Do not click the 'Play New' button because you will lose your 'Best Time' score).
Your goal is to complete each 48 piece picture in as little time as possible to lower your 'Best Time.'
Balls Painting Playing Tips:
Try to anticipate where the ball will be when it will be hit by the bullet. You can only make progress when a ball is hit in an upainted area of the picture.
One technique that can work is to place the crosshair on the cell you want to "paint." You still have to time your shot right, but at least you know you are firing in the right direction.
The hardest areas to "paint" are the top row and the four corner pieces. The top row is difficult because the other balls tend to get in your way and block your shot. I have had good success with the lower right corner piece by shooting my bullet a little sooner than I normally would. This seems to work well.

Pro:Balls Painting has a most unusual concept. I have really never seen anything quite like it. It has fun special effects and sounds. The pictures are quite engaging. Overall, it is a rather nice game to play.
Con: It is too bad that Balls Painting does not have a Pause button. It certainly would have come in handy.

Game Description: Drop tiles to make groups of tiles that add up to the required number.
How to Play DropSum:DropSum has three modes of play: Basic Game, Timed Mode, and Arcade Mode. My review will only cover the Basic Game. Although I have played both the Timed and Arcade modes, I don't feel I have played them enough to give a through review. So, you can learn those two on your own.
Select from three modes of play: Basic Game, Timed Mode, or Arcade Mode. (Hint: Start with the Basic Game. Later, you can move on to the Timed or Arcade Mode which have their own special rules.)
Drop the tiles from one of the 7 columns with your mouse.
Your goal is to make groups of tiles that add up to the required number.
The bigger the tiles group, the more points you score. A group of 3 scores 81 points. A group of 4 scores 256 points and so on.
Here is the tile progression. A tile starts out as grey. Make one group with that tile and the tile becomes blue. Make two groups and the tile turns yellow. Make three groups and the tile turns red. It is spinning and ready to explode. Make four groups and the tile explodes and is removed from the board.
Pop a red tile to create chain combinations for big scores. (When a red spinning tile explodes it leaves a gap. As the tiles above fall to fill the gap additional groups can be formed creating a chain reaction.)
Collect stars. The more you collect, the bigger the star bonus will be.
Press 'P' to pause the game and take a break! Press 'P' again to resume.
In Basic Game mode the game ends when the entire board fills and there are no more groups to be formed.
DropSum Game Options:
The music and game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the two small icons located at the upper left corner of the game screen.
DropSum Playing Tips:
Anytime you have the opportunity to explode a spinning red tile do so. There are two reasons to do this. First, exploding the red tiles are what keep you in the game. Remember, the red tiles are the only tiles that can be removed from the board. Once the board fills up with tiles (in Basic Game mode) you lose. You must keep exploding the red tiles to make room for the new tiles you are constantly dropping unto the board. The second reason to explode the red tiles is this. As the other tiles drop down to fill the gaps left by the exploding red tiles this often leads to a huge chain reaction. Other groups are formed that add up to the required number. This can remove many tiles from the board at once which is exactly what you want.
Plan ahead. While luck will certainly help you some, the only way to be truly successful with DropSum is to plan ahead. Don't always think about how this tile can make a group, but more how this tile could lead to bigger things ahead.

Comments:DropSum is one of those games that, at first glance, does not appear to be very interesting. But nothing could be further from the truth. DropSum is absoultely intriguing! While the Timed and Arcade modes are very good; my favorite mode, by far, is the Basic Game. The Basic Game allows you time to think and strategize. Whereas the Timed and Arcade modes force you to make quick decisions. Play DropSum at least three times and you will likely be hooked like I am. It really is that good.

Game Description: Run your farm, grow your crops and provide all shops with the supplies they need in this time management game.
How to Play Youda Farmer:
Select a female or male character, enter your farmer name, and select a color for your truck. Then click Ok. On the next game screen click 'Play' to begin.
Follow the in-game instructions. Youda Farmer will practically take you by the hand and explain everything you need to do for each level. So, just follow the instructions.
Each level has two parts: picking up farm products, and delivering farm products to the villiage merchants.
To pick up farm products use your mouse to drag each product into a crate.
To deliver farm products use your mouse to click each product to get it into the truck.
To get to the next level you must do three things. First, you must pick up enough farm products. Each level has an order target which requires a minimum number of farm products to pick up. You must meet this target or you will have to repeat the level. Second, each level has a delivery target which shows you the number of deliveries you must make. You must meet this target or you will have to repeat the level. Third, each new level requires that you buy a specific farm upgrade from the money you earn from selling your products to the town merchants. If you have not earned enough money to purchase the required upgrade you will have to repeat the level.
Youda Farmer should automatically save your game progress. Then, using the same computer, come back to Richard's Game Reviews to continue your game. Make sure you click either 'Play' or 'Load.' Do not click 'Delete' or you will lose your game. Clicking 'New' allows you to keep your game and start a new game by selecting a different name. For example, you could have one game with the name of Robert, and a second game using the name Bob.
Youda Farmer Game Options: All game options may be accessed by clicking the Menu button located in the upper left corner of the game screen. Here are the options:
Set the music volume.
Set the effects volume.
Graphic performance may be set to low or high.
Youda Farmer Playing Tips:
Remember, you must use your mouse differently when you pick up and deliver the products. When you pick up the products you must drag each product into a crate. When you deliver your products (put them into the truck) you do not drag with your mouse, but only click on the products. For some reason, the first couple of times I played, I kept trying to drag the products into the truck rather than just clicking. Maybe I was having a 'senior moment'? Anyway, so now you know better. And you won't make the same mistake!
Youda Farmer is a time management game. This means you must be efficient with your time to make it to the next level. For instance, you will not be able to click on products to get them into the truck until your truck arrives. You must wait for the truck. With multiple orders to pick up you'll drive more. So, try to fill each order as much as possible before going to the next area.
Watch the bottom of the game screen. When your products or orders turn red, this means you must click on them before they disappear!
Pick up orders from left to right to make the row combo meter grow. When it reaches 3, 6, or 10 you get row combos. This is worth extra cash!
Party products are IMPORTANT to make progress in the game. Quickly click them when you see them.
Whenever you can, buy farm upgrades. Some farm upgrades will give you more opportunity to grow your farm and make more money. For instance, if you buy a Chicken Coop you can pick up and deliver eggs. Other farm upgrades allow you to save time and make your farm far more efficient. For instance, buying a Food Processor will speed up egg productivity. The more farm upgrades you have, the better you will do in the game!
Richard's Rating: 4 out of 5.
Pro:Youda Farmer is highly entertaining with wonderful graphics and sounds. I think you will really like this game if you can get good at it.
Con:Youda Farmer is not easy. While it is easy to understand what you need to do, it is not that easy to actually accomplish it. It took me forever to get past level 3. And, it can become very frustrating when you have to repeat a level over and over. (The best thing to do, if you do become frustrated, is to get away from the game for awhile and then come back. When I was stuck on level 3, that's what I did. I came back the next day and I was able to get past level 3 on my very first try!)
Game Description: Clear all cards from the pyramid by making combinations adding up to the number 13.
How to Play Pyramid Solitaire Ancient Egypt:
Pyramid Solitaire Ancient Egypt is a card game played with a standard deck of 52 cards.
Each round begins with 28 cards dealt face up in the shape of a pyramid, 3 cards dealt face up at the bottom forming 3 stacks, and the remaining 21 cards left face down forming the pack.
Aces count as 1, Jacks as 11 and Queens as 12. Kings count as 13 and can be removed on their own. All other cards are at their face value.
The goal is to remove all cards from the pyramid by making combinations that add up to 13.
A combination may consist of only one card (a King) or a pair of cards (any 2 cards that add up to 13).
Use your left mouse button to click cards that add up to 13 to remove them from the board.
The only cards that are in play, and may be clicked, are any card in the pyramid that is not overlapped by another card, the top card from any of the 3 stacks, and any card that is in the 'Temp Card Store' space.
You may make a paired combination (that is, 2 cards that add up to 13) by doing any of the following: Click 2 playable cards from the pyramid. Click 2 playable cards from the stacks. Click 1 playable card from the pyramid and 1 playable card from a stack. Click 1 playable card from the pyramid and the card from the 'Temp Card Store.' And finally, click 1 playable card from a stack and the card from the 'Temp Card Store.'
When you run out of combinations to make, click the space that says 'More Cards.' Clicking the 'More Cards' space deals 3 more cards, 1 to the top card of each stack.
You may move any card in play to the temporary storage area (which Pyramid Solitaire Ancient Egypt calls the 'Temp Card Store') to assist you. To move a card to the 'Temp Card Store' first click on the card, then click the space named 'Temp Card Store.' Only one card at a time is allowed in the 'Temp Card Store' space.
You may use the 'Undo' button, at any time, to undo your last move. The 'Undo' button only goes back 1 move. You can never go back farther than 1 move.
Score 500 points for each combination you make.
Score extra bonus points by completing a round quickly.
Score a deck card bonus of 1,000 per card for each card that remains in the pack when you successfully complete a round by removing every card from the pyramid.
There is also another bonus called the 'Round Number Bonus.' (Originally I did not know how this bonus worked. But thanks to Krista's insightful comment below, I can now give you the explanation). When you successfully complete Round 1, you receive a 1,000 point round number bonus. Successfully completing Round 2 earns you a 2,000 round number bonus. And successfully completing Round 3 earns you a 3,000 round number bonus, and so forth.
Score 10,000 points for removing every card from the board!
If you are able to remove all cards from the pyramid, you go to the next round! If you fail, the game is over.
Please Note: Before playing Pyramid Solitaire Ancient Egypt in Full Screen mode, you may want to take a moment, or two, to read my review. Then, after playing your game, simply click the back button on your browser to return to this page.
Pyramid Solitaire Ancient Egypt Game Options:
The game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the microphone icon located at the lower right side of the game.
Anytime you want to pause the game click the 'Menu' button located near the lower right corner of the game screen. (Why this button is not labeled 'pause' is beyond me). To continue your game, click 'Resume.'
Pyramid Solitarie Ancient Egypt Playing Tips:
Anytime you click on a card, watch the upper right corner of the game screen. Pyramid Solitaire Ancient Egypt will tell you the rank of the card you need to complete the pair to make a combination adding up to 13.
Anytime you have a chance to remove all cards from the board and all cards from the pyramid you should do this because you will earn a bonus of 10,000 points. Make those last few moves carefully. Sometimes making just one move before another can make the difference! But remember. Your first, and most important, priority is to remove all cards from the pyramid so you can make it to the next round.
After you have dealt the last 3 cards from the pack Pyramid Solitarie Ancient Egypt will automatically put up a notice that says 'Take Points.' This does not mean anything. It certainly does not mean you have lost the game. It simply means there are no more cards remaining in the pack. Continue playing. Play until you have no more moves left to make. By playing things out, at the very least you will pick up more points even if you do lose. And, very often, you can complete the round successfully and make it to the next round. So, don't let the 'Take Points' message deter you. Keep going!
Try to leave the 'Temp Card Store' space open as much as possible. This will give you greater flexibilty when you do need to use this space. I am not suggesting that you do not use the 'Temp Card Space'. On the contrary, I am telling you to leave it open, if possible, so you can use it over and over again. Let me give you an example. Let's say you have an uncovered 8 that is in play, and the 8 is the only card overlapping a 5. If the 'Temp Card Store' space is open you can move the 8 there. Then click on the 8 again to select it and click on the 5. You have accomplished two things. First, you have removed those two cards from the board. And second, because you removed the 8 after moving it to the 'Temp Card Store' space area, that space is empty again and ready to be used for similar situations. So use the 'Temp Card Store' space often, but try to keep it open as much as possible too.
Suppose you have this scenario. You have an uncovered 3 in the pyramid that you can play. You also have two tens, each of which are the top card of a stack. One of the tens has no cards underneath it. The other ten does have one or more cards underneath it. Which ten should you pair with the 3? The correct move is to play the ten that has cards underneath it. If you play the ten with no cards underneath it, this opens up a blank space in the stack which has absolutely no value to you. If you play the ten that does have cards underneath it, you expose the next card underneath, and you may be able to pair this newly exposed card with another card to make another combination of 13. Even if you cannot, this still is the correct move because you do not want to allow any stack to become too deep. If you allow a stack to become deep this increases your difficulity. You may need one of the cards that is buried deep within the stack, and the more cards that are on top the harder it will be. So, in the scenario I have laid out, move the ten with the cards underneath it. This is just an example, but I think you get the idea.
Sometimes you may have a situation where you can pair a card from a stack with either a card from the pyramid or with a card from one of the other 2 stacks. What should you do? While your first instinct may be to pair it with the card from the pyramid this may not necessarily always be the best move. It really depends on what cards lie underneath the 2 stack cards and what cards lie underneath the pyramid card. Think of it this way. Each time you uncover cards, new moves become possible. So, which move is best usually depends on what lies underneath.
Learn to look deep into the pyramid. (No, I am not suggesting anything mystical, lol. I am strictly talking logic here). Look at the cards that are buried deepest near the top of the pyramid. As you progress in a round you should be thinking 'How can I get these cards removed?' Thinking about this early in a round can sometimes help you win the round!
Don't hesitate to use the 'Undo' button. That, alone, can sometimes make the difference between winning and losing.
Richard's Rating: 5 out of 5.
Pro:Pyramid Solitarie Ancient Egypt is an excellent game of strategy that will definitely give anyone a challenge. The graphics and sounds are quite good. I especially like to see, and hear, that pyramid rise after winning a round. That is one cool special effect!
Con: If you are not familiar with pyramid solitaire this game will take a little bit of practice to get used to. And, you probably will not have very much fun until you do get good at it. So, practice, practice, practice!!!
