Freddy's Fishing Fun

Game Description: Are you good at fishing? Well, let's see about that. Try to help Freddy catch enough fish to get to the next level.

How to Play Freddy's Fishing Fun:

• Move your mouse left or right to move Freddy to where you want to drop the fishing line.
• Click and hold your left mouse button to lower the fishing line. (The longer you hold your button, the lower your line will go).
• Release your button to begin reeling in your line.
• You can catch more than one fish or bonus item on the hook at one time.
• Watch out for floating junk -- if junk hits your fishing line while you have fish or bonus items on it, they will be bumped off.
• Each level has a specific type of target fish, and a quantity of that fish, that you must catch in order to reach the next level.
• You will see a picture of the target fish before you begin playing the level. You will also see its picture at the upper right corner, during level play, to remind you of what it looks like.
• Watch the fish counter located near the upper right corner (just to the left of the picture of the target fish). The fish counter shows you how many of the target fish you need to catch to make it to the next level.
• Try not to catch any other type of fish other than the target fish.
• Each time you reel in a fish that is not a target fish, the fish counter increases by one. (It will, however, not increase beyond its maximum starting point. For instance, if you were required to catch 5 target fish, the fish counter will not increase beyond 5).
• Each time you reel in a fish that is a target fish, the fish counter decreases by one.
• There are bonus items you can collect to pick up extra points. Many bonus items are floating in large rectangles. Some bonus items can also be found in the opening and closing giant clams or treasure chests at the bottom. Although bonus items will increase your scoring by a lot, they do not help you to advance to the next level.
• You have 120 seconds to complete each level.
• If you are able to get the fish counter down to zero before the time is up, you will advance to the next level.
• If time runs out before you are able to catch the required number of the target fish, it is... game over!

Freddy's Fishing Fun Playing Tips:

• You do not have to reel your line up, in a straight vertical line. You can move Freddy from side to side as you are reeling, to catch more fish and bonus items, or to avoid the floating junk (so you won't lose your catch).
• Also, you do not have to reel in your line all at once. You are free to click and hold your left mouse button as many times as you wish. In other words, you can reel in your line part way and then lower it again and again. You may want to do this to avoid floating junk, or to help catch more fish or bonus items.
• If you have more undesirable fish on your hook than target fish, it is a good idea to purposely hit the floating junk with your line to dislodge everything and then try again. That way, your fish counter will not increase!
• After you learn how to play the game a little, you can concentrate on picking up bonus items especially during the easier lower levels. Many of the bonus items that you collect will increase your score by 1,000 points. Remember, however, that your main goal is to get to the next level. So, as the levels become harder you will have less time to concentrate on the bonus items.
