Addiction Solitaire

Game Description: You have 10 minutes to build the four suits, 2 to King, from left to right.

How to Play Addiction Solitaire:

• After each shuffle the four aces are automatically removed from the board leaving four blank spaces.
• Only one card may be moved to a blank space. That is the card that is the same suit as the card immediately to the left of the blank space and one card higher. For example, if the card immediately to the left of a blank space is the seven of diamonds, only the eight of diamonds may be moved to that blank space.
• To move a card, use your mouse to click on the card you want to move. Then, click on the blank space where you want to move the card to.
• Any deuce may be moved to a blank space when a blank space occurs on the first left column of the board.
• Blank spaces after Kings cannot be filled.
• Three reshuffles are allowed.
• After each reshuffle, all cards you have previously placed in the correct position from left to right will remain in their positions.
• You receive 1 point for each card placed correctly.
• 48 points wins the game!

Addiction Solitaire Game Options:

• The game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the sound button located at the top of the game screen.

Addiction Solitaire Playing Tips:

• A glowing green outline will appear around a card when it becomes eligible to be moved. Watch for these!
• Try to think several moves ahead. (This just takes a little bit of practice).
• Make all possible moves before reshuffling.

Comments: Once you get the hang of Addiction Solitaire, it can be quite fun. However, it does take a little bit of practice before you get good enough to enjoy the game.

Here is my solution to Tilt Maze. I am not claiming that my solution is the shortest possible route for each level. Maybe you can find a solution with fewer moves... but these do work. So, okay, if you are really sure you want to see the answers, and you really are ready to give up... then, here they are.

Tilt Maze

Game Description: Move the red ball with the arrow keys and get it to the blue square.

How to Play Tilt Maze:

• Use the 4 arrow keys to move the red ball. (If the ball does not move as it should, please follow my instructions below.)
• Your goal is to get the red ball to the blue square to remove it from the maze.
• If you get stuck, press your Control key to reset the level.
• Tilt Maze has 11 levels.
• You may play any level you wish by clicking the little arrow at the top of the game screen to advance to the next level.
• Beginning with level 7, there are multiple blue squares... and you must remove all of them from the maze.

Tilt Maze Game Options:

• To turn the background music on or off, click the speaker icon located at the top of the game screen.

Tilt Maze Playing Tips:

• If you really get frustrated, and would like to see the answers... here is my Tilt Maze solution.

Pro: "This game looks so easy. How can it possibly pose a challenge?" Those were my initial thoughts... until I actually started playing this well-crafted game. I soon found out... much to my delight, that Tilt Maze can be quite challenging. The intriguing thing about this game is that everything is out in the open. Nothing is hidden from view. The solution is right there to see... but still, sometimes you just can't see it. At least, not right away.

Con: There appears to be a minor flaw in the code for this game that only affects Level 1. Sometimes, on Level 1 when you press the arrow keys the red ball will not move. If this should occur, simply press the arrow key at the top of the game screen to go through all 11 levels until you get back to Level 1. Then, Level 1 should work fine. I uploaded this game from 5 different sources and the results were the same. I recently played this game again, and I discovered the same types of problems affecting some of the other levels (i.e. the ball not moving, or the control key not resetting the level as it should.) It usually helps if you either turn the music on, or off, by clicking the microphone icon at the top of the game screen. I really do like this game and I wish to leave it on my site. Hopefully, there will not be too many problems with it. I apologize for these minor inconveniences. Thanks, Richard

Freeride Trails

Game Description: Ride your bike over the mountain trails. Do backflips to score extra points!

How to Play Freeride Trails:

• Once the game loads, click the 'Start' button.
• Next, click 'Play'.
• On the next game screen, you will select your game level.
• Click on any unlocked level to select it. (If this is your first time playing Freeride Trials only Level 1 will be unlocked. It will have a large red X in front of it, indicating that it is unlocked and available for play). Apparently, as far as I can tell, you must successfully complete a level before you may unlock the next one. (This is just an educated guess on my part, because as hard as I might try, I have never been able to complete Level 1. As a matter of fact, I have never been able to get past even that first big jump. And believe me, I have tried countless times. lol.)
• After you select your level, click your space bar to begin play.
• Use your four arrow keys to pedal, brake, lean forwards, and lean back.
• Score backflips for extra points and complete each mountain track.
• There is a clock located at the lower right corner. Finish a level before the clock winds down, to score bonus points.
• There are 15 levels of play.

Freeride Trails Playing Tips:

• To quickly gain speed, lean back while riding.
• To do a backflip, keep leaning back while in the air.
• When droping into a bowl, lean back and let your front wheel drop in first.
• Score higher by doing a backflip at every opportunity.

Pro: Freeride Trials is a fun game with decent graphics.

Con:

• This game sometimes loads very slow.
• Although there appears to be a microphone icon located near the lower left corner, the game sounds have never worked for me. So, I can only play the game in silence.
