Simon

Game Description: Follow the pattern of lights and sounds for as long as you can remember them.

How to Play Simon:

  • Use your left mouse button.
  • Repeat the pattern of lights and sounds for as long as you can.
  • The lights show up faster the more sequences you correctly recall.
  • The higher you go, the more you score!

Simon Playing Tips:
  • If you always use the same computer each time you play Simon here at Richard's Game Reviews, the game will keep track of your all-time highest score and display that score as 'highest' in the lower right corner.

Richard's Rating: 2 out of 5.

Pro: This is an outstanding replica of the 1980's toy that you are probably familiar with. Very nice graphics and sound effects add to the fun!

Con: Obviously, you could cheat by writing down the names of the colors. But where is the fun in that?

  3. To rebelredusa,

I also remember playing Simon years ago, with the old toy version, before there were computers around. (I know it is hard to believe, but yes some of us actually did grow up without computers).

Back then, I too could sometimes get all the way up to 30. If I recall correctly, 30 was as high as you could go with the old toy version. After reading your comment it got me interested to see if I could beat your score of 17. Well I am 59, and I could only manage a score of 16.

So, I guess elvis has done left the building, or at least he is getting ready to exit? I'll try not to get too depressed about this. lol.
