Game Description: The game of Hangaroo is just like Hangman - guess the hidden phrase to complete a level. Hangaroo is filled with thousands of terms and phrases, presented in random order each time you play. While playing, be prepared for cheers and jeers from the cuddly 'roo. He doesn't take too kindly to incorrect guesses... After all, it is his neck on the line!
How to Play Hangaroo:
- Click the 'Start' button.
- You can select letters by either clicking on the letter buttons above the puzzle, or by using your keyboard.
- Fill in all of the letters of the puzzle to complete a level.
- Be careful! Each time you are wrong, you get an 'X'. You're only allowed 4 wrong guesses per puzzle.
- The indicator at the top right corner of the screen will show how many puzzles you have completed.
- The game ends when you either complete 10 puzzles and save the kangaroo, or when you lose.
- Look for common words such as: AND, FOR, IN, IS, OF, ON, TO, and THE.
- Try common letters of the alphabet such as: A, E, I, L, N, O, R, S, T, and U.
- When you see an apostrophe in a puzzle, there is most likely an 'S'. (Be careful not to mistake a comma for an apostrophe).
- Keep in mind this game is apparently several years old, so some of the answers are outdated.

Comments: Hangaroo certainly has a lot going for it. First of all, there are thousands of puzzles that come up at random. This makes it less likely to get a repeat puzzle all that often. Second, even though the puzzles are somewhat on the easy side, some of the puzzles are challenging enough that you will probably lose, at least once in a while, which tends to keep things interesting. And third, but certainly not least, you have to love that kangaroo. He is quite the character!
