Air Hockey

Game Description: Play a game of ice hockey against the computer.

How to Play Air Hockey:

  • Click the 'Start' button. Then select your team flag: Canada, Finland, France, Germany, U.S., Italy, Japan, Sweden, or the Czech Republic.
  • You will play each of the 8 other countries one round at a time. (Note: The game will give you a password for each new round. But no passwords are used. So, just ignore this, and click 'Next'.)
  • Use your mouse to control your mallet and hit the puck.
  • Your objective is to get the puck into the other team's net (at the top of the game screen) to score a goal, while at the same time try not to allow the other team to score a goal by getting the puck into your net (at the bottom of the game screen).
  • The first team to score 7 goals wins!
  • If the other team wins, you will need to play that team again. You may only advance to the next round when you win.
  • The game ends when you lose 3 rounds.

Air Hockey Game Options:
  • To turn the sound on or off click the 'Menu' button located at the lower right corner of the game screen. Then, click 'Sound' from the pop up menu.

Air Hockey Playing Tips:
  • Try bank shots off the sides of the board.
  • When you find a shot that works try repeating it.
  • Be careful not to hit the puck into your own net! This will give the other team a goal.

Richard's Rating: 4 out of 5.

Comments: What I like about this particular version of hockey is, at least for me, it is neither too fast or too slow. It is not so fast as to be overwhelming. Yet it still provides a good challenge. Air Hockey is very enjoyable, and great fun!
