Rescue the Band

Game Description: The band members have been kidnapped! Chase the van and destroy it before it gets away!

How to Play Rescue the Band:

• Once the game fully loads, click the 'Go' button.
• Keep clicking 'Go' until you get to the beginning of the game.
• Press the Up arrow key to begin.
• The boys are stuck in the back of a blue van.
• You have to chase it down and ram it with your bio-diesel burning funny car until each of the 4 band members is free!
• You have 3 minutes to rescue the first band member. If you succeed you will get an additional 3 minutes to rescue the second band member and so forth.
• The red stripes are health indicators: get theirs down to zero to free a band member. If yours gets down to zero first... you lose.
• Watch out for traffic! If you have too many crashes your health indicator will go down to zero and your car will experience a breakdown and the game will be over.
• If you see a flying wrench run into it! This will increase your health indicator.
• Use your 4 arrow keys and your space bar. The Up key is forward, down key is brake, left/right keys are to swerve. Press the space bar for turbo to go extra fast!

Rescue the Band Game Options:

• The sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the microphone icon located near the lower right corner of the game screen.

Rescue the Band Playing Tips:

• Just remember, your goal is to get the blue van's health indicator down to zero (by ramming it in the rear with your car) before your own health indicator gets down to zero (mainly by avoiding collisions with other vehicles).
• Do run into those flying wrenches, even if it means slowing down a bit. These are power-ups! They will increase the health indicator of your car and keep you in the game.

Pro: Rescue the Band has above average graphics and sounds. I found it quite fun even though I was only able to rescue one band member in about 20 minutes of play. Perhaps, you can do better?

Con: Warning: The game introduction does contain a bit of adult language. I also apologize to anyone from Sweden who finds any of the comments about Swedes offensive.
