Gold Miner

Game Description: Use your claw and reel to mine gold and other treasures out of the earth. Collect enough treasure quick enough to reach the next level.

How to Play Gold Miner:

• Your claw will swing back and forth.
• Press the Down arrow key to lower the claw.
• Once your claw has grabbed something it will reel it up.
• Heavy objects like rocks and large pieces of gold will be harder to reel up.
• Grab bags contain random amounts of money, a strength power-up, or a stick of dynamite.
• Between levels you can buy items from the store, to help you win.
• Your money and dynamite carry over from one level to the next.
• Collect the target amount of money by the end of the level... or it's game over.

Gold Miner Playing Tips:

• After you lower your claw, and if it looks like it is not going to grab anything, if you press the Left arrow key right after you drop the claw, it will retract more quickly. This will save you some valuable time, rather than waiting for the claw to retract at its normal speed.
• If you have dynamite available and you have grabbed a large rock (large rocks are not worth very much and they take longer to reel up), you can use your Up arrow key to toss dynamite at it and blow up the rock. This will save time, which you can use to pick up more valuable objects.
• If you accidently blow up everything with your dynamite on a level, you still may be able to win your level by pressing the "Exit Level" button. If you have already collected the target amount of money, before you blew everything up, you will be able to go to the next level, and your game will go on.
• You may also press the "Exit Level" button if you want to skip a level. You can do this at the beginning of a level, or anytime during level play. You could do this if you are 100% certain that you have already accumulated enough money to meet the level target amount. (If you miscalculate, and you have not yet reached the level target amount, it will be instant game over!) However, it would be foolish to skip a level, or part of a level, and not earn as much money as you can from it. The only reason that I mention this, is simply to let you know that it is possible.
