Game Description: Click on connecting bubbles to form words. Spell as many words as you can before time runs out!
How to Play Bubbletters:
- Once the game fully loads, click the 'Play' button.
- On the next screen you see, click the 'Resume' button.
- Spell words of at least 3 letters in length.
- Drag and link letters together to make words, using any connecting bubbles. (Hint: Dragging the mouse to spell words is a lot quicker than selecting bubbles individually).
- Watch the icon at the bottom of the game screen. When it looks like a red 'X', you know that you do not have a valid word formed. When it changes into a green checkmark, you know that you do.
- If you are clicking letters individually, (I just told you not to do that. lol.) you can either double click the last letter of your word, or click the 'Submit' button on the game screen to submit a word.
- If you are dragging the mouse to spell words, simply release your mouse to submit your word when the icon at the bottom shows a green checkmark.
- If you still insist on clicking letters individually, (Boy, are you being stubborn today, or what? lol.) should you change your mind, and want to start a new word, you can either click on a non-connecting letter on the board, or click the 'Clear' button on the left side. On the other hand, if you are following my advice and dragging with your mouse, simply release your mouse to start a new word if the icon at the bottom shows a red 'X'.
- Click the 'Shuffle' button to get new letters.
- To score big, start your next word with the last letter you used. For instance, if your last word ended with the letter 'T', begin your next word with the letter 'T'. (Hint: Bubbletters will always let you know what this bonus letter is by displaying it inside of a bubble on the left side, just below your score. Also, Bubbletters will give you a starting bonus letter when you begin each new game. The starting bonus letter is also displayed just under the score area).
- Larger words drop different color bubbles into the mix. If you use these, you’ll score even more bonus points!
- Keep an eye on the bubble meter at the right. Once its empty, you’ve run out of time!
Bubbletters Game Options:
- Click the microphone icon located near the upper right corner to turn the game sounds on or off.
Bubbletters Playing Tips:
- Dragging letters with your mouse is much faster than clicking each letter individually. It is also easier, and quicker, to submit a word because all you need to do is release your mouse when you see a green checkmark.
