Street Luge

Game Description: Race your street luge against the clock on three amazing tracks. Try not to crash! Each time you crash you will lose some time on the clock. When you crash, you will continue racing from the spot where you crashed. Try to finish each race track in as little time as possible. Street Luge will automatically save your game scores for you. So each time you play, you can try to lower your time.

How to Play Street Luge:

• Click the 'Play' button.
• Pick your track by clicking on 'Mountain', 'Canyon' or 'City'.
• Click the 'Next' button (located in the lower right corner).
• On the next screen, type your name in the space provided (up to a maximum of 12 characters). Typing in your name is optional. It is simply for fun, and you are the only one who will see your name.
• Select your country by clicking on one of the 12 flags. This is also optional and just for fun.
• Click the 'Start' button at the lower right corner.
• Once the track fully loads, click the 'Click to Start' button. (If you have played Street Luge before on the same computer you should see 'Your Best Result' for that track. This is your personal best time that you will try to beat).
• The clock is located at the lower right corner.
• Press the 'A' key to speed up.
• Press the 'Z' key to brake.
• Use the left and right arrow keys to steer.
• There is no limit to the number of times you can crash, but each time you crash you will lose some time on the clock.
• When you crash, you will continue racing from the spot where you crashed.
• Your goal, of course, is to finish each race track in as little time as possible.
• After each race is complete, click the 'Yes' button to race on the same track again. Or, click the 'No' button to go back to the main menu to play a different track.
• Street Luge should automatically save your game scores for you. Then, as long as you use the same computer, each time you play you can try to lower your time for each race track on each new try.

Street Luge Game Options:

• The game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the 'Audio On/Off' button located at the upper right corner.

Street Luge Playing Tips:

• Do not crash! Okay, this is the most obvious of tips because each time you crash you lose time. But, I just had to say it.
• Try to ride down the center of the street as much as you can. Use the white dash marks in the center of the street as your guide. If you can stay on the white dash marks, you will not crash.
• For the mountain track try to avoid the dirt areas. These will slow you down. Also, there is a ramp on this course. Ride up the ramp and make a jump to avoid the large dirt area that is coming up.
• For the city track pay attention to the yellow barricades. Each barricade has yellow arrows at the top which shows you the direction you should go. This course has lots of sharp turns, so don't forget to brake when you need to.
• Similar to the mountain track, with the canyon track, you will want to try to avoid the dirt areas because these will slow you down considerably. This course also has a ramp near the end of the race. Ride up the ramp and jump to avoid the large dirt area that is coming up. Use the yellow arrows along the side of the road to point you in the right direction.

Comments: With Street Luge, spectacular graphics and sounds are the order of the day. The graphics are truly outstanding! One thing I particularly like about Street Luge is that the game allows you to have unlimited crashes. So, no matter how inept you may be, at least you can finish each race.
