The Queen's Jewels Playing Tips:
Richard's Rating: 4 out of 5.
Pro: The Queen's Jewels is unlike any other game I currently have here on Richard's Game Reviews. It is similar to a traditional Match 3 game, but the way you make matches is completely different. The graphics and sounds are outstanding! Anyone, whether you are a Match 3 fan or not, should enjoy this unique and challenging game.
Con: It would have been nice if The Queen's Jewels gave you at least 3 lives per game. Maybe even 3 lives per level. The game is certainly challenging enough to warrant some extra chances.

- You may wish to view the brief built-in game tutorial if this is your first time playing. Or, just click the 'Start Game' button at the bottom of the game screen to begin play immediately.
- Click and drag a gem one space at a time clockwise or counter-clockwise to line up three or more gems of the same color.
- You can also line up three or more gems by moving a column toward or away from the center jewel.
- Matching rows of gems earns you points that power up the center jewel. When it is completely powered up, you advance to the next level.
- If you need help to make another move, you can click the center jewel to reshuffle the gems, but this drains some of the center jewel's power.
- Your game is timed by a string of pearls that disappear one by one. If they run out before you complete a level, the game is over.

The Queen's Jewels Playing Tips:
- Look for matches of more than three. These will earn you extra points and allow you to power up the center jewel faster.
- Try to make muliple matches with a single move when possible. This will earn you more points to power up the center jewel.
- Don't ignore the innermost circle of gems. Because these gems are smaller you may have a tendency to overlook them. You really can't afford to do that. You need all of the matches you can make. (Hint: If you have difficulity seeing the intermost circle of gems, try changing the zoom level on your computer. I have a 17" monitor, and changing my zoom level to 150% works great for me. Or even better than that, try playing The Queen's Jewels in full screen mode).
