Game Description: Use your paddle to bounce the ball and break some bricks!
How to Play Arcanoid:
- Use your mouse.
- Click your left mouse button to shoot a ball.
- Move your mouse to control the paddle.
- Only red bricks will break when hit.
- All other bricks change color when hit.
- The color progression works like this each time the ball hits a brick. Purple bricks become blue. Blue bricks become aqua. Aqua bricks become green. Green bricks become yellow. Yellow bricks become orange. Orange bricks become red. Red bricks break.
- This means, for example, that a purple brick must be struck 7 times before it will break.
- The more bricks you can break, the higher points you will score!
- Each time you miss the ball with your paddle you will hear a crashing sound, and the bricks will advance towards the bottom.
- The game ends when any brick reaches the bottom!
Arcanoid Game Options:
- The sound may be turned on or off by clicking the sound button located at the top of the game screen.
Arcanoid Playing Tips:
- The slower you can keep the ball, the easier it will be to control your shots.
- When a shot goes above a group of bricks the ball can bounce around for quite a while and take out a large number of bricks!
