Game Description: Drop colored blocks of ice one at a time. When you make a match of three or more similar colored blocks that are touching each other either vertically or hortizontally, the matched blocks will be destroyed and the ice blocks around them will also be destroyed. Your goal is to destroy all ice blocks above the water to clear each level. Make matches right next to a bomb and the bomb will explode and destroy large blocks of ice in an instant! Break more ice, and get more score. But watch out. If you run out of time, it is game over!

Comments: Break the Ice is a quick fun game, although it did take me about five minutes of playing until I started to get really comfortable with it. Things start out rather easy, with only two different colors of ice blocks, but become increasingly more challenging as more colors are added to the mix. Play this game for about ten minutes, and I think you should really start to enjoy yourself!

How to Play Break the Ice:
- Once the game fully loads, click the 'Play Now' button.
- At the top you will see two ice blocks.
- The ice block on the left, the larger one, is the one you can drop now.
- The ice block on the right, the smaller one, is the one you will drop next.
- There are six columns.
- Click anywhere on a column where you want to drop an ice block and the block will drop to the bottom of that column.
- The goal is to make matches of at least three similar colored ice blocks to break the blocks and the ice around it. (To make a match of three or more, the matched ice blocks do not need to all be in the same column, although they can be. They may also be in different columns as long as they are touching each other either horizontally or vertically).
- Break all ice above the water to clear the level. Hint: The bottom two rows are below the water. Remember, you can also make matches within these rows to help you lower the columns of ice above.
- Break the ice right next to a bomb and the bomb will explode and destroy large chunks of ice!
- Break the ice right next to an hourglass and more time will be added to the clock.
- Thick ice has to be broken two times before it can be destroyed. The first match will only crack it. The second match will destroy it. However, a bomb will destroy thick ice immediately.
- Break more ice, and get more score.
- The timer is near the top.
- The game ends when you run out of time, or when you run of out room and have no place left to drop the next ice block.
Break the Ice Game Options:
- Click the purple microphone icon, located near the lower left corner to turn the game sounds on or off.
- Click the yellow pause button, also located near the lower left corner, to pause your game. Click the 'Continue' button to resume your paused game.
Break the Ice Playing Tips:
- Clear a level to get a lot of time put back on the clock. Hint: Pay attention to the level button located near the upper left corner just below your score. The red number will tell you how many more pieces of ice you need to destroy in order to clear your level.
- Even though your objective is to break all ice above the water to clear the level, it is also important to pay close attention to what is happening with the two rows that are submerged below the water. The reason is this. If you can make matches below the water, the ice above the water in the same columns will drop down. So this is yet another way to attack the ice above the water. In other words, don't simply try to destroy the ice by attacking it from above, but also attack it from below. Another point to remember is this. There may be bombs or time added hourglasses below the water that can help you significantly. So remember. Look below the water as well as above.
- Watch for bombs. If you can make a match next to a bomb the bomb will explode and destroy large blocks of ice in an instant!
- Also be alert for hourglass figures. If you make a match right next to an hourglass, time will be added to the clock.
- Break the Ice will show you, at the top, which color block is coming up next. So try to think one move ahead as you play the game.
- Often times the best strategy is not to drop a block directly on top of two similar colored blocks that are in the same column, but instead to drop it on an adjacent column if this will still make a combination of three or more. The reason is because this allows you to break two columns of ice instead of just one.
- Watch for vibrating ice blocks. Destroy a block while it is still vibrating and it will produce a larger chain reaction than a regular ice block.
