Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold

Game Description: Join a young girl named Nelly in this adventure game. Solve puzzles, and find hidden objects, to help Nelly find her grandmother's hidden treasure chest!

How to Play Treasure Seekers Visions of Gold:

  • This game is played with only the left mouse button.
  • Click the 'Play' button.
  • As you begin each level look at the bottom of the game screen. There, at the bottom center, you will see circles with a lock inside.
  • The goal of each level is to first find the circles. As you move the mouse around look for your mouse pointer to change into the shape of a pointing hand with a blue wristband. You will also see blue stars emitting from the area. Once you see this, click in that area and the circle should appear. (At some points in the game, it may be possible to open up more than one circle at a time).
  • Each circle has hidden objects that you must find.
  • Use your mouse to click on objects throughout the room.
  • If you are wrong you will see a red 'X'. (No need to worry. You can have as many wrong clicks as you want with absolutely no penalty. You may also take as much time as you need because Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold has no time limit!).
  • When you do find a hidden object, use your mouse and drag it inside the circle that has the required object. (Sometimes, you may find a hidden object that belongs to a different circle, and perhaps, you have not yet found the circle to which it belongs. In that case, just remember where the object is so that when you do locate the circle you will know where to retrieve the object from).
  • Some containers, such as boxes and drawers, may hold some of the hidden objects you are seeking. When a container holds an object the mouse pointer will change to an eye. Click the container to examine inside.
  • Use the 'Hint' button if you get stuck. The 'Hint' button will show you where you should click next.
  • You may use the 'Hint' button an unlimited number of times. You just need to wait until it recharges again (about once every 10 seconds).
  • Some levels also have puzzles that you must solve.
  • Your ultimate goal is to get all the way through the game and help Nelly find, and unlock, her grandmother's treasure chest. Good luck!

Treasure Seekers Visions of Gold Playing Tips:
  • If you are having trouble finding a circle, you can always use the 'Hint' button to locate the circle. Here's how. The 'Hint' button always shines a light from the circle to a hidden object that belongs to that circle. So, to locate the circle simply look where the light begins. Once you place your mouse pointer near that spot, the mouse should turn into a hand and the circle can be found!
  • Should you make it all the way through the game, you will eventually get to the point where you will find the ten keys to open the treasure chest, at which point the game will end. I don't want to give you too much information and spoil your fun, but I will tell you this much. Each key fits only one of the ten locks. Five of the keys can be inserted into the locks on the left side of the chest. The remaining five keys can be inserted into the locks on the right side. But, just because the keys will go into the locks does not mean they are in the correct lock. There is a way to tell which key goes into which lock, but I will leave that one final mystery for you to solve!
  • It took me about an hour to solve Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold. Admittedly, I am not very good at this type of game, so you may be able to solve it quicker. You will get stuck plenty of times. Just keep using the 'Hint' button as much as you need to, when it recharges. The main thing is not to give up!

Comments: The best feature of Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold are the outstanding graphics. They are simply superb! Another thing I like about the game is this. It is challenging enough to be fun, yet not impossibly difficult to finish. Overall, Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold is a wonderful blend of adventure and hidden object fun.
