Game Description: You are a fish. Eat smaller fish and worms to score points and grow bigger. Avoid fish bigger than you!
How to Play IAFish:
- Use your mouse to move your fish.
- The object of the game is to score as many points as possible by eating fish smaller than you and worms.
- Simply guide your fish into something you would like your fish to eat.
- At the top of the display is an area which shows you how healthy your fish is and also your fish's karma level.
- You'll score higher points by keeping your fish's karma level as high as possible.
- At the top right of the display is 7 fish indicators that show you what your fish is interested in eating. Your karma level will be affected by what you do when these indicators are active.
- If your karma level drops too low, it will start affecting your fish's health.
- Every time your fish comes into contact with a larger fish, your fish's health will decrease.
- The game is over when your fish's health becomes too low.
IAFish Game Options:
- The music and game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the musical note icon, or the sound icon, located at the upper left corner on the game screen. (You must click these before you click the Start button on the main game screen. Once you click Start, these options are no longer accessible and your only option would be to adjust your speaker volume.)
IAFish Playing Tips:
- Although the game instructions don't specifically say so, eating worms seems to really boost your fish's karma. So my advice is to eat as many worms as you can as well as smaller fish.
Richard's Rating: 4 out of 5.
Comments: I found IAFish to be quite fun. What I especially like about IAFish is that, unlike similar fish games, when your fish comes in contact with a larger fish once it isn't automatically game over. In most instances, depending on the health status of your fish, your fish can recover and grow stronger. A very nice touch!
