Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold

Game Description: Join a young girl named Nelly in this adventure game. Solve puzzles, and find hidden objects, to help Nelly find her grandmother's hidden treasure chest!

How to Play Treasure Seekers Visions of Gold:
  • This game is played with only the left mouse button.
  • Click the 'Play' button.
  • As you begin each level look at the bottom of the game screen. There, at the bottom center, you will see circles with a lock inside.
  • The goal of each level is to first find the circles. As you move the mouse around look for your mouse pointer to change into the shape of a pointing hand with a blue wristband. You will also see blue stars emitting from the area. Once you see this, click in that area and the circle should appear. (At some points in the game, it may be possible to open up more than one circle at a time).
  • Each circle has hidden objects that you must find.
  • Use your mouse to click on objects throughout the room.
  • If you are wrong you will see a red 'X'. (No need to worry. You can have as many wrong clicks as you want with absolutely no penalty. You may also take as much time as you need because Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold has no time limit!).
  • When you do find a hidden object, use your mouse and drag it inside the circle that has the required object. (Sometimes, you may find a hidden object that belongs to a different circle, and perhaps, you have not yet found the circle to which it belongs. In that case, just remember where the object is so that when you do locate the circle you will know where to retrieve the object from).
  • Some containers, such as boxes and drawers, may hold some of the hidden objects you are seeking. When a container holds an object the mouse pointer will change to an eye. Click the container to examine inside.
  • Use the 'Hint' button if you get stuck. The 'Hint' button will show you where you should click next.
  • You may use the 'Hint' button an unlimited number of times. You just need to wait until it recharges again (about once every 10 seconds).
  • Some levels also have puzzles that you must solve.
  • Your ultimate goal is to get all the way through the game and help Nelly find, and unlock, her grandmother's treasure chest. Good luck!

Treasure Seekers Visions of Gold Playing Tips:
  • If you are having trouble finding a circle, you can always use the 'Hint' button to locate the circle. Here's how. The 'Hint' button always shines a light from the circle to a hidden object that belongs to that circle. So, to locate the circle simply look where the light begins. Once you place your mouse pointer near that spot, the mouse should turn into a hand and the circle can be found!
  • Should you make it all the way through the game, you will eventually get to the point where you will find the ten keys to open the treasure chest, at which point the game will end. I don't want to give you too much information and spoil your fun, but I will tell you this much. Each key fits only one of the ten locks. Five of the keys can be inserted into the locks on the left side of the chest. The remaining five keys can be inserted into the locks on the right side. But, just because the keys will go into the locks does not mean they are in the correct lock. There is a way to tell which key goes into which lock, but I will leave that one final mystery for you to solve!
  • It took me about an hour to solve Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold. Admittedly, I am not very good at this type of game, so you may be able to solve it quicker. You will get stuck plenty of times. Just keep using the 'Hint' button as much as you need to, when it recharges. The main thing is not to give up!

Richard's Rating: 5 out of 5.

Comments: The best feature of Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold are the outstanding graphics. They are simply superb! Another thing I like about the game is this. It is challenging enough to be fun, yet not impossibly difficult to finish. Overall, Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold is a wonderful blend of adventure and hidden object fun.

Hidden Objects Room 5

Hidden Objects Room 5
Game Description: In Hidden Objects Room 5 there are four rooms with hidden objects. Each room has ten hidden objects, so there are a total of forty hidden items in all. Score 100 points for each hidden object you find and click. But be careful, because you will lose 30 points each time you click anywhere other than on a hidden object. Points will also be deducted for time taken after you finish the game. So the less time you take, the higher you will score. Good luck!

How to Play Hidden Objects Room 5:
  • Click the 'Play' button.
  • Use your mouse to click on the hidden objects.
  • The objects you need to find are listed at the bottom of the game screen.
  • Each time you successfully find a hidden object it will disappear from the screen.
  • Find all 10 objects to advance to the next level.
  • There are 4 levels of play.

Hidden Objects Room 5 Scoring:
  • Earn 100 points each time you click on a hidden object.
  • Lose 30 points each time you click anywhere other than a hidden object.
  • A perfect score would theoretically be 4,000 points. 4,000 points, however, is impossible to achieve because Hidden Objects Room 5 will always deduct points for time taken. So even if you do find all 40 objects without making a mistake, you still cannot score a perfect 4,000 points. (In fact, if you take a look at the Leaderboard below you will see, at least at the time I published this, that the highest score so far is 3,971 points. And that score has only been achieved one time). Remember, the less time you take to complete the entire game, the fewer points you will lose. So the idea is to find all 40 hidden objects as fast as you can, while making as few mistakes as possible to achieve the highest score you can.

Play Hidden Objects Room 5 on Full Screen

Please Note: Before playing Hidden Objects Room 5 in Full Screen mode, you may want to take a moment, or two, to read my review. Then, after playing your game, simply click the back button on your browser to return to this page.

Hidden Objects Room 5 Game Options:
  • The music may be turned on or off by clicking the microphone icon located at the bottom right corner of the game screen.

Hidden Objects Room 5 Playing Tips:
  • Do play Hidden Objects Room 5 on full screen. It will be much easier to find some of the smaller objects.

Hidden Objects Room 5 Walkthrough:
  • If you would like to see the solution to all four levels, here is the Hidden Objects Room 5 video walkthrough. The video plays kind of fast, so you may need to view it more than once.

Richard's Rating: 3 out of 5.

Comments: This is certainly one of the easier hidden object games you will find. All of the objects are large enough to easily be seen. Some are in plain sight. Others are camouflaged. A nice mix! Also, even when you finally do figure out where all 40 hidden objects are located the game can still continue to be fun, because the challenge now becomes to see how quickly you can find and click on all of the 40 hidden objects without making a single mistake and try to see how high you can score on the Hidden Objects Room 5 leaderboard.

Muay Thai

Game Description: You are a tough street fighter that has mastered the art of Muay Thai, a type of fighting that originates from Thailand. You must take on all comers. Good luck!

How to Play Muay Thai:
  • You are the character in the red trunks. (If you would like to play the game as a different character named Ryu, you can. Ryu has the advantage of being able to jump really high. His jumping ability makes it easier to defeat most, if not all, opponents. To play the game as Ruy, click the 'Enter Code' button located at the lower right corner. Then, enter the following code: STREETFIGHTER (all capital letters).
  • You will fight each opponent one at a time.
  • Click the 'Start Game' button. (If you want to practice some of your moves before you begin the game, click the 'Training' button first, then click the 'Start Game' button when you are ready).
  • Select your difficulity: 'Easy', 'Medium', or 'Hard'.
  • In Muay Thai you use 3 keys on your keyboard: the 'z', 'x', and 'c' keys, plus your 4 arrow keys.
  • z = Block
  • x = Punch
  • c = Kick
  • left/right = turn around and move forward
  • down (hold) + x = Uppercut
  • up (hold) + x = Hyper uppercut
  • down (hold) + c = Hook kick
  • up (hold) + c = Knee kick
  • up + x = Double punch
  • x + up + x = Triple punch
  • x + up + x + up = Super punch combo
  • c + up = Double kick
  • c + up + c = Triple kick
  • c + up + c + up = Super kick combo
  • down (hold) + x + up = Double uppercut
  • down (hold) + c + up = Hook knee combo
  • down (hold) + left/right = Rolling (invincible)
  • down (hold) + left/right + x = Rolling uppercut
  • down (hold) + left/right + c = Rolling hook kick
  • p = pause game
  • r = resume game
  • Your health is shown by the yellow bar on the left
  • Your opponent's health is shown by the yellow bar on the right.
  • If your opponent's health gets down to zero before yours does, you win and go on to the next fighter.
  • If you defeat all of the fighters on a level, you go on to the next level.
  • If your health gets down to zero before your opponent's does, you lose.
  • When you lose a fight, click the 'Continue' button to repeat the level. (If you click the 'Restart' button you will be taken back to the Main Menu. However, when you click the 'Start Game' button you will actually advance to the next level instead of starting the game over again from the beginning, or repeating the level you failed... which makes absoutely no sense to me. However, if you would like to advance to the next level, like this, just know that you can.
  • There are 6 levels called stages. They are: Stage 1 "The Mask", Stage 2 "Hit Me If You Can", Stage 3 "Big Guy", Stage 4 "Final Fight", Stage 99 "Ryu from the future", and Stage 666 "Akuma!!!" Each stage has several fighters that you must defeat.
  • If, at the beginning of the game, you would like to skip the first four stages you can. Click the 'Enter Code' button at the lower right corner on the Main Menu. Enter the following code: RYUFROMFUTURE (all capital letters) to go immediately to Stage 99 to fight Ryu. Or, enter the code: GOUKENSLAYER (all capital letters) to go immediately to stage 666 and fight Akuma.
  • If you want to start the game again from the very beginning, the best thing you can do is probably to refresh the entire page.

Muay Thai Game Options:
  • The music may be turned on or off by clicking the microphone icon located at the top somewhat towards the right corner.

Muay Thai Playing Tips:
  • When you find a combination that works keep repeating it until it no longer works.
  • When you are fighting enemies like the dragon who can blow fire, or other characters that have special powers, duck and roll while they are using these powers to try to minimize your damage.

Richard's Rating: 4 out of 5.

Comments: One of the best things about Muay Thai is the 3 difficulity settings. This allows everyone to enjoy success no matter what their abilities. Muay Thai is a great fighting game... it simply a blast!

Franky the Fish

Game Description: You are a goldfish named Franky. Eat fish smaller than you to grow bigger. But... watch out for bigger fish!

How to Play Franky the Fish:
  • Click the 'Start' button.
  • Click 'Go!'
  • Use your 4 arrow keys to control Franky.
  • Eat fish smaller than you to get bigger and stronger.
  • Watch out for bigger fish. If a bigger fish eats you... it's game over!

Franky the Fish Playing Tips:
  • It is probably best if you keep Franky in the horizontal center most of the time. Since the fish swim from left to right and right to left, if he is too close to either the left or right side of the tank you will have less time to react.
  • You can sometimes hide from the larger fish, at least for a while, at the top or bottom of the tank. But, because of the squid, it is probably safer to hide at the top.
  • Watch out for the squid! The squid are large and swim along the bottom. They can be tricky because of their stop-and-go movement.

Richard's Rating: 3 out of 5.

Pro: Franky the Fish has fun sounds and graphics.

Con: There is no sound control for the game. So, you will have to adjust your computer's speakers.

Aztec Blocks

Game Description: Arrange the colors of the falling block and drop it to make horizontal, vertical, and diagonal color matches of 3 or more.

How to Play Aztec Blocks:
  • Blocks are dropped from the top.
  • Each block contains 3 bricks.
  • There are 6 columns. Use the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to move a block to another column. (Once a block drops all the way to the bottom it can no longer be moved to a different column).
  • Use the UP arrow key to swap positions of the individual bricks on a block (Once a block drops all the way to the bottom the bricks can no longer be swapped).
  • Use the DOWN arrow key to drop blocks faster.
  • Make horizontal, vertical, or diagonal matches of 3 or more bricks to break them.
  • When consecutive matches occur, you create a combo. Combos multiply the total points that match was worth.
  • When you go up a level, the drop speed increases and you will earn a random elemental power totem. Power totems will help you destroy more bricks.
  • WIND TOTEM (light blue color) -- The blocks will rise instead of falling, (you will have to press and hold down the DOWN arrow key to get the blocks to fall), and will show guides to make matches. This lasts for 5 drops.
  • DARKNESS TOTEM (purple color) -- Destroys all blocks of the color it lands on.
  • EARTH TOTEM (brown color) -- All lowest row bricks will be destroyed.
  • FIRE TOTEM (red color) -- Breaks 2 immediate bricks it falls on, and destroys bricks surrounding it afterwards.
  • NATURE TOTEM (green color) -- All bricks on the leftmost columns and rightmost columns will be destroyed.
  • WATER TOTEM (deep blue color) -- Breaks 2 immediate bricks it falls on, and changes colors of bricks surrounding it afterwards.
  • Your goal is to break bricks and not allow any brick to reach the top.
  • The game ends when any brick reaches the top.
  • IMPORTANT: After the game is over, and you see the GAME OVER screen click the large 'X' to Quit the game and play again.

Aztec Blocks Playing Tips:
  • You can see a preview of the next block that will be dropped in the right panel. Watch this carefully. This will give you extra time to plan your next move.

Richard's Rating: 3 out of 5.

Pro: Aztec Blocks is a lot more interesting than it may first appear. Try it, and I think you will enjoy the challenge that this game provides.

Con: There seems to be no volume control. If there is, it is well hidden because I can't find it! (If you are a regular reader, you probably know that is a pet peeve of mine). So, you will have to adjust your computer's speakers.

  • Press the RIGHT arrow key to balance right.

  • Your goal is to make it through each level without crashing.
  • There is no time limit.
  • Each time you crash you have to repeat the level.
  • If you make it to the 'Save Point' sign and should you crash, you don't have to go back to the beginning of the level. Instead, you get to begin at the 'Save Point' sign.

Trial Bike Pro Game Options:
  • The music may be turned on or off by clicking the microphone icon located on the main game screen. (You can only access this control before you begin the game. Should you go back to the Main menu after you begin the game you will lose your game progress. Of course, if you get tired of the music you can always lower the volume on your computer speakers).
Trial Bike Pro Playing Tips:
  • When climbing over objects sometimes it helps to press the UP and RIGHT arrow keys at the same time.
Richard's Rating: 3 out of 5.

Comments: Trial Bike Pro has fun graphics and sounds. How refreshing it is to have a driving game where you don't have to contend with a clock!

Crush the Castle 2 Walkthrough

Are you having trouble finding a solution with some of the castles in Crush the Castle 2? Watch these YouTube videos for Crush the Castle 2 solutions to get some fresh ideas. You can use the ideas presented here, or develop your own. Remember, there are many ways to crush most castles. You may want to use the same weapons for your first shot. But, for castles where you are allowed more than one shot you may want to select an entirely different weapon for your second shot which may work just as well, or even better. Crush the Castle 2

Game Description: Fire the catapult to crush each castle!

How to Play Crush the Castle 2:
  • After the game loads, and this may take a little while, at least it does on my computer; click the 'Play' button.
  • Next, click the 'New Game' button. (Important: If you are coming back to continue a saved game, make sure you click the 'Continue' button instead of the 'New Game' button).
  • Click the 'Continue' button twice to skip the story.
  • Now, click the first map section (the island near the middle bottom). You will know this is the right place to click because your mouse pointer will change shape.
  • After you click the island, you will see the first two castles for the game. Click on either of these castles to begin play.
  • The goal of Crush the Castle 2 isn't actually to crush the castle as its name implies. The real goal is to kill all of the villagers in each castle. (No need to worry. This is not nearly as gory as it sounds. I promise!)
  • How many villagers you need to kill, and how many shots you get, is shown at the bottom of each screen. For instance, 0/3, and 1 Shot, means that in order to win a gold medal you must kill all 3 villagers with a single shot. By the way, the 0/3 part will also tell you how many villagers you killed with your last shot, or shots. For instance, 2/3 means that you killed 2 of the 3 villagers.
  • To fire the catapult you will need to click on it two times with your left mouse button. The first click begins to swing the catapult. The second click fires the catapult. It is simply a matter of rhythm to find the right speed and trajectory.
  • You get an unlimted number of shots! Just click the 'Reset' button to try again.
  • If you are having trouble with a particular castle and want to try crushing a different castle, then later come back to the castle you were working on, click the map button (this is the small button immediately to the left of the Menu button). The game will ask if you are sure you want to go back to the map. It will also tell you that you will lose any progress you made on this castle. Click 'Yes' if you agree.
  • For some castles you will be given more than one shot to earn a gold medal. To take an extra shot, or shots, after you take your first shot you would click the object that looks like a sort of large wheel (located at the bottom center of the screen between the 'Reset' button and the Shot number indicator), instead of clicking the 'Reset' button. I am not sure what this object is actually called, but for the sake of this review let's call it the 'Wheel of Death'. Of course, if your first few shots prove ineffective, or if you haven't achieved your goal after the required number of shots are taken, click the 'Reset' button to begin again. Incidently, the number of shots you have taken can be seen at the top of the screen.
  • Crush the Castle 2 should automatically save your game progress as long as you use the same computer.
  • There are a total of 50 castles to crush.

Crush the Castle Playing Tips:
  • To get extra momentum on your shot, let the catapult swing all the way to the bottom, then all the way back to the top and click again just as it moves forward and hits its highest point.
  • Some castles have kegs of dynamite. If you are able to explode a bomb next to the dynamite this can set off a chain reaction.
  • When you have a parachute bomb, wait until your shot is directly above the intended target. Then, click on the text in the upper right corner (the text will say "CLICK to release parachute"). The parachute will open up and glide slowly down. This enables you to make a precision shot.
  • A Remote bomb -- These bombs won't detonate until you click the 'Detonate' button located in the upper right corner.
  • There are various weapons you can use. Each weapon is pictured on the outer circle of the 'Wheel of Death'. As you play the game, you will unlock these weapons. (If a weapon is still dim on the wheel, this means it has yet to be unlocked and cannot yet be used). To change your weapon, simply rotate the 'Wheel of Death' with the arrows on each end and click on the weapon of your choice. For some castles, it will be necessary to change your weapon in order to crush the castle. I am not suggesting there is only one way to crush a castle. Quite the contrary. Try different weapons to see which one works best for each situation.
  • If you get gold medals for all 50 castles you earn a very special secret weapon. Look once again at the 'Wheel of Death.' Notice there is now a brand new weapon -- a secret potion. (It is the one that looks like a purple bottle). Try crushing a few castles with the secret weapon. It is super cool!

Battle Bingo

Game Description: Play bingo against the computer. See who will get Bingo first!

How to Play Battle Bingo:
  • Click 'Play'.
  • Select your game type: Regular (get a Bingo five across, down, or on diagonal), X (draw an "X" on your card by getting both diagonals), or Full Card (fill in every spot on your card).
  • In Battle Bingo you will compete against the computer to see who will be the first to get Bingo!
  • The computer's bingo card is on the right.
  • Your bingo card is on the left.
  • The computer will mark off its own numbers as the numbers are called.
  • You will click on each number of your card with your left mouse button as the numbers are called.
  • Don't forget to click the 'Bingo!' button when you get a Bingo.
  • If both you and the computer happen to get a Bingo on the same number the computer will win because the computer marks off its numbers instantaneously as soon as the numbers come up. So, if there is a tie you have no chance unless, of course, you happen to be a superhero. lol

Battle Bingo Game Options:
  • The music may be turned on or off by clicking the microphone icon located at the bottom center of the game screen.

Battle Bingo Playing Tips:
  • Try not to get distracted. If you get behind, you can check to see what numbers have been called. (The called numbers are listed at the top). However, because the numbers come up rather quickly it can be difficult to catch up especially if there are already a lot of numbers called.
  • When playing the "X" game type you only need to mark numbers that are on the two diagonals. All other numbers, including all numbers from the 'N' column, do not need to be marked off.

Richard's Rating: 2 out of 5.

Pro: Battle Bingo is an easy and relaxing game to play.

Con: This game certainly could have been improved with a little animation or better sounds.

Big Shot Checkers

Game Description: This game plays like regular checkers, but with a huge twist: the Big Shot!

How to Play Big Shot Checkers:
  • In Big Shot Checkers you will play a game of checkers against the computer.
  • This game is played using your left mouse button.
  • Click the 'Start' button to begin.
  • Next, click the 'Play' button.
  • Choose a character for your Big Shot: Choose either Mac, the character that looks like a child (you get the blue pieces), or choose Bloo, the character that looks like a blue ghost (you get the red pieces).
  • Select a difficulty from: Normal, Hard, or Big Shot.
  • Click the 'Play Now!' button.
  • Your pieces are always at the bottom, and you always get the first move. After that, play alternates between you and the computer.
  • Click on the piece you want to move and Big Shot Checkers will light up the squares showing you all of the possible moves you can make. (Should you change your mind, click on the same piece again. Then, click on a different piece to move). To complete your turn, click on one of the lit up squares.
  • Pieces can only move on the pink colored squares.
  • Regular pieces can only move forward.
  • If you, or the computer, are able to jump over an opponent's piece and capture it, you've got to do it immediately. Of course, if you have more than one piece that can capture an opponent's piece you may choose which move you want to make. Big Shot Checkers will use a sparkling effect to show any piece of yours, or the computer's, that can jump over an opponent's piece.
  • If your, or your opponent's, Big Shot is captured the piece that the Big Shot is riding on will be lost; but the Big Shot itself will always remain in the game. It will immediately reappear on the board on a new piece that is farthest back (either the home row, or if all pieces have already advanced beyond the home row, then the farthest row back possible).
  • Get a piece to the king's row, and it becomes a king.
  • A king can move forward or backward.
  • Your Big Shot can always move forward or backward.
  • Your Big Shot can also move to another of your pieces, that is next to it, without moving the piece it is already riding on. If you, or the computer, do swap places with the Big Shot this ends that turn and the opponent gets the next turn.
  • There is a clock. And yes, if you look closely you will see that it actually does move... but very slowly. While writing my review, after about 10 minutes had elapsed, all of a sudden the clock started flashing and ticking loudly. I was curious, so I wanted to see what would happen next if I ignored this warning. Just as I suspected, when the clock runs out completely... you lose!

There are Three Ways to Win:
  1. Capture all of your opponent's pieces.
  2. Block in your opponent so they have no moves left.
  3. Get your Big Shot to the King's row.

Big Shot Checkers Game Options:
  • The music may be turned on or off by clicking the musical note icon located at the lower left corner.

Big Shot Checkers Playing Tips:
  • The computer seems almost oblivious to the fact that once your Big Shot gets to the king's row it will lose, and really does nothing to prevent it. I would suggest, to make the game a bit more competitive, that you do not try to get your Big Shot to the king's row but just play it straight up as a regular checker's game. (You will find that the game is still rather easy to win). If you decide to take my advice, of course, you will still need to prevent the computer from getting it's Big Shot to your home row.
  • Be careful. There is one very tricky way that you can lose. Suppose the computer has only two pieces remaining. One of the pieces is a king that is still on your home row (that is, the computer's king row) and the other piece, of course, is the computer's Big Shot piece. If you would capture the computer's Big Shot piece, the Big Shot would have no other place to go except on top of the remaining piece (it's king) and you would lose immediately! Why? Because, remember. One of the ways to win is to get your Big Shot to the King's row which is exactly what would take place in this scenerio. How do I know this? You guessed it. It happened to me!

Richard's Rating: 2 out of 5.

Pro: Big Shot Checkers has delightful sounds and graphics!

Con: The game is very easy to win.

Fishdom 2

Game Description: Play Match 3 games, earn money, and build your virtual aquarium.

How to Play Fishdom 2:
  • If this is your first time playing Fishdom 2, or if you haven't played in a while, click 'Yes' when the game asks if you would like to see a quick tutorial. The tutorial is short, yet informative. It will explain the basic concept of the game and help you get started.
  • There are two different game modes you can play. You can play relaxed mode with no timer (this mode is very convenient, but not nearly as much fun in my opinion), or you can play timed against the clock which is the option I recommend for everyone. Here's why. It is a lot more fun to play against the clock and even if you fail, the game really doesn't penalize you. You simply repeat the level again.
  • For each level you will play a Match 3 game. (If you are not familar with the term Match 3, let me briefly explain. The idea of Match 3 is to line up 3 or more identical pieces either across or up and down. You will do this by swapping the positions of two adjacent pieces by either clicking each piece individually or by using a dragging motion. The pieces will only swap positions if there is a resulting match of 3 or more. If there is no match nothing will happen, and you will simply try again).
  • Should you take too long to make a move Fishdom 2 will suggest a move by displaying double red sliding arrows. Please remember, this is simply a random move. It may, or may not be, a good move. Look around. You may find something better.
  • In Fishdom 2 you goal is to create matches over golden tiles to collect them. The level is complete when all the golden tiles have been cleared. (If you are playing the timed mode against the clock you will see the timer, which looks like a tube filled with green liquid, along the right hand side of the game. You will need to complete the level before the tube runs dry. Should you fail, you may simply repeat the level as many times as you need until you succeed).
  • Depth Bomb -- You earn a Depth Bomb by making a match of 5 pieces. When the Depth Bomb is exploded it will destroy all pieces within a radius of 2 tiles. To explode a Depth Bomb simply make a match over it.
  • Firecracker -- This explosive appears only as a result of a cascade match of 6 or more falling pieces and cannot be earned by a player's match. It destroys all pieces within a radius of 1 tile. To explode a Firecracker simply make a match over it.
  • Dynamite Charge -- This device destroys all pieces within a radius of 3 tiles. It is earned by a match of 6 pieces. To ignite the Dynamite charge simply make a match over it.
  • A single locked piece -- To break the lock, bring the other matching pieces to the locked piece.
  • A double locked piece -- Bring the other matching pieces to the locked piece to break the first lock. Do it again to break the second lock.
  • Silver Tiles -- To collect Silver tiles you must match over it two times. The first match will turn the tile to gold. The second match will collect it.
  • After each level look in your tank. You may spot some gems. Collect them to earn some extra money. (If the plants, or other objects are in your way, simply drag them with your mouse).
  • Click on the eye icon located at the upper left corner to pause the game and enjoy the views of the underwater world. To resume play, click anywhere on the game screen.
  • After some levels there will be a Bonus level. For Bonus levels you will collect gems to get a unique bonus for your tank. This may be a fish, or sometimes a lot of extra cash. It will be necessary to sometimes drag plants and other objects out of your way to find some of the gems. The number of gems to collect is listed at the top of the game screen. When you collect all of the required gems, you will receive your bonus item.
  • At the end of each level you will have the option to spend the money you have earned at the shopping area. Any money left unspent will carry over to future levels.
  • The shopping area has 3 tabs: Fish, Beauty (things like plants), and Comfort (things that will make your fish feel more comfortable like filters and heaters, for example). Notice that at the ends of each tab there is a right and left arrow. Click on these arrows for more items to buy.
  • There are 3 meters near the upper right corner. These are also labeled: Fish, Beauty, and Comfort and correspond to the 3 shopping tabs. As you purchase items from the 3 shopping tabs these 3 meters will fill from left to right. When all 3 meters are filled to 100% capacity you will earn a cup. The first cup you will earn is the Bronse Cup. The second cup you will earn is the Silver Cup, and so forth. (Hint: After you earn your Bronse Cup Fishdom 2 will tell you that you have just earned your first cup and to continue playing to start earning your next cup... the Silver Cup. After you click the 'OK' button, you will probably need to click the 'Back' button located at the upper left corner to continue your game).
  • After you complete some levels the game will ask if you want to download the full version of the game. If you only want to play for free, click the 'Continue' button and just keep playing.
  • This free demo version of Fishdom 2 has 20 levels of play.
  • Fishdom 2 should save your game automatically as long as you use the same computer. (If you are an experienced Match 3 player you probably should be able to complete all 20 levels in about an hour). To resume your saved game, click the 'Play' button and just start playing where you left off previously.

Fishdom 2 Game Options: All of the game options are accessed by clicking the 'Menu' button located in the upper right corner. The options are:
  • The game mode may be set to Relaxed mode (check the box), or play against the clock (uncheck the box).
  • The sound may be adjusted.
  • The music may be adjusted.

Richard's Rating: 4 out of 5.

Comments: For the experienced Match 3 player, Fishdom 2 is probably more relaxing than challenging. Even so, it is still enjoyable.

Doodle God

Game Description: Create storms, build armies, grow a civilization and… drink vodka! Doodle God puts the power of creation in your hands. Mixing and matching different elements, work your way up, all the way from bacteria and beetles, to clay and ceramics, to tools, weapons and beyond! But beware, creating a whole world is not so easy – inventing the wheel might just end in a plague of zombies… Don’t worry though; you’re not completely alone on your cosmic journey! Every time you successfully create a new item or procedure, you’ll also be rewarded with the wit and wisdom of some of the greatest philosophers and comedians!

How to Play Doodle God:
  • Click the 'Play' button at the bottom center of the game.
  • If this is your first time playing Doodle God watch the introduction... it is quite entertaining! (If you have played before, just click the 'Skip' button).
  • You begin the game with 4 elements: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water.
  • Your goal is to try to create new elements by combining two existing elements. (You will always combine one element from the left column with one element from the right column).
  • Not all elements will combine. If you click on two elements that cannot be combined, the two elements will vibrate and you will hear a clicking noise but nothing will happen.
  • When you click on two elements that can be combined, those two elements will float to the middle and an element will be created. However, if you have previously tried that combination you will, of course, be recreating an element you already have. (Also, sometimes, there is more than one combination that will produce the same exact element). Remember, the goal is always to create new elements.
  • After you create an element, whether it is a repeat of an element you already have, or a new element, click the 'Continue' button below the elements to continue your quest.
  • There are a total of 115 possible elements you can create. Doodle God will show you how many elements you have created at the upper left corner of the game screen. For example 12 / 115 means you have so far created 12 of the 115 possible elements.
  • Your ultimate goal is to create all 115 elements, including humans!

Doodle God Game Options:
  • The game sounds may be turned on or off by clicking the sound icon located on the main menu. Then, click the 'Play' button to resume your game. (To access the main menu first click the icon just to the left of the light bulb. It sort of looks like a door with an arrow pointing towards it).

Doodle God Playing Tips:
  • There are countless combinations, but the trick is to create new elements and not the ones you already have. Fortunately, Doodle God is ready to help you. When the light bulb at the bottom of the screen turns yellow, click on it and Doodle God will show you a list of elements in two columns. There is always at least one combination that can be used to create an element. (You may find a new element, but you could also find an element you already have). Even though you won't know which elements to click at least this does narrow down the choices for you. Clicking the light bulb each time it turns yellow can be a good way to make progress in the game.
  • If when you click the light bulb should only the main categories come up, and the light bulb is still yellow, click on the light bulb a second time. This is important because this will usually give you more detailed choices from the subcategories, and it can be much easier to find, perhaps, new elements you have not yet discovered.
  • In the beginning, when you only have a small amount of elements, try to work systematically. Concentrate on one element at a time. Try to match that element with every other element. Then, do the same for each of the other elements, one at a time.
  • Here is a YouTube video that demostrates how to start playing the game of Doodle God. This should give you a good overview on how to play the game.

  • If you would like to see the entire solution to Doodle God I have it here.

Richard's Rating: 5 out of 5.

Pro: Doodle God is unique and highly creative. Though certainly challenging, it can be great fun when you discover each new element. Overall, Doodle God is a splendid game to play!

Con: Should you get stuck, Doodle God can get somewhat frustrating.
